Before she transitioned into the art sector, Ms. Wang built an impressive record in finance. From 2009 to 2019, she served as managing director at China Investment Corporation in Beijing, China's largest sovereign wealth fund. During her nearly decade-long tenure, she was responsible for high-level management and strategic oversight. Concurrently, from 2011 to 2017, she served on the supervisory board of China Investment Security Stock Ltd., contributing her expertise to one of China's prominent securities companies.

Ms. Wang's early career included roles in human resources management. From 2002 to 2009, she served as HR manager at BP, where she developed key personnel strategies and supported the organization's growth. Her professional journey began as an HR officer at Xian Janssen Pharmaceutical Ltd. from 2000 to 2002.

Her academic background is equally robust. Ms. Wang earned a Master of Public Administration from Tsinghua University in Beijing in 2016, which provided her with advanced knowledge in public policy and administration that has informed her leadership roles. She also holds a Master of Science in personnel management and business administration from Aston University in Birmingham, United Kingdom, which she completed in 1999. This degree equipped her with essential skills for managing people and organizations across diverse sectors. Her foundational studies culminated in a Bachelor of Science in international economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing in 1998.

Ms. Wang attributes her success to inspiration drawn from collectors and artists whose positive feedback motivates her ongoing efforts. She finds fulfillment in witnessing their personal growth, as collectors benefit financially and artists thrive through the opportunities she has helped create, resulting in a rewarding cycle of achievement.

Her professional affiliations include membership on the supervisory board of China Investment Security Stock Ltd. and participation with the Stanford Department of Music's Symphonic Chorus, reflecting her broad interests beyond business.

Civically engaged, Ms. Wang volunteers with Friends of the Palo Alto Library, further demonstrating her commitment to community service.

Outside her professional endeavors, Ms. Wang enjoys the arts and singing; she is an active member of the choir.
