He also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management from Weber State University, which he completed in 1992, and an Associate of Science in civil engineering from Rowan College of South Jersey, which he earned in 1986. He is a certified construction safety and health manager through OSHA Training USA and holds the construction safety and health professional designation from the OSHA Safety Training Institute. He holds a transportation worker identification credential from the Department of Transportation and is recognized as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute. Additional certifications include hazardous waste awareness and Department of Transportation function-specific training from ACT Envirio, Inc., as well as OCC 811 certification from the State of Oklahoma and FEMA emergency management certification.
