MAITLAND, FL, November 05, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Adam R. Vellequette has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Vellequette has established a distinguished career in the remodeling industry, most notably through his leadership at KBF Design Gallery. Since 2019, he has served as principal of the company, guiding it through a period of significant transformation and growth. Under his stewardship, KBF Design Gallery experienced a remarkable increase in revenue, expanding nearly 300% to nearly $15 million in annual revenue. This achievement followed the successful acquisition of the business alongside his sister, which was finalized in May 2021 after securing a Small Business Administration loan during the COVID-19 pandemic. As principal, Mr. Vellequette has been instrumental in implementing robust operational systems and processes that have supported this rapid expansion.
A key highlight of Mr. Vellequette's recent professional journey is his development of artificial intelligence software tailored specifically for the remodeling sector. Recognizing a gap in technology solutions for the industry, he initiated the creation of this software to address certain industry-specific needs. Drawing on his firsthand experience, he collaborated with a technical partner to advance the project toward commercialization, aiming to introduce it as a service for remodelers nationwide. This innovative endeavor reflects his commitment to leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and create new revenue streams for the company.
Prior to assuming the role of principal, Mr. Vellequette served as a member of the construction team from 2007-2016 before transitioning into a sales role in 2017. During his time spent in construction, he was deeply involved in all aspects of field operations, beginning with hands-on demolition work on weekends for his father's small business. His responsibilities included removing tile, cabinets and countertops, managing warehouse inventory and deliveries and supporting tradespeople by anticipating their needs on job sites. As the company grew, he advanced to lead demolition efforts and later transitioned into sales alongside his sister and father. Their collaborative efforts resulted in an 80 percent increase in sales during their first year together. Recognizing the need for scalable systems as the business expanded, Mr. Vellequette shifted focus to operations, introducing digital record-keeping and process improvements that laid the foundation for future growth.
Throughout his career, Mr. Vellequette developed a deep understanding of the remodeling industry. How to lead and systemize and industry that specializes in highly custom work. His accomplishments have garnered recognition in prominent publications like Florida Design Magazine and Architectural Digest.
Furthering his industry expertise, Mr. Vellequette maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including The National Kitchen & Bath Association, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, the Greater Orlando Builders Association and the Florida Home Builders Association. His academic background includes earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida in 2013.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Vellequette attributes much of his success to his ability to recognize areas where he lacks expertise and seek guidance from those with specialized knowledge. This philosophy has enabled him to build strong teams and drive innovation within his company.
Mr. Vellequette's work has been recognized with numerous awards, including six category wins at the Orlando Magazine Home Design Awards in 2025, two first-place Sea Glass Awards in 2025 and first-place honors at Parade of Homes Orlando. He was also featured among The Faces of Orlando for Faces of Home Remodeling by Home by Orlando Magazine and Orlando Business Journal's, Golden 100 Top Privately Held Companies.
In his personal life, Mr. Vellequette enjoys pickleball, mixed martial arts lessons and playing chess. He prioritizes spending time with his family, including his wife and their three children, and is civically involved with several charitable foundations. Looking ahead, he intends to further diversify KBF Design Gallery by expanding into software development, codifying industry expertise into technological solutions that will enhance both internal operations and competitive positioning within the remodeling sector.
