With more than 25 years of progressive experience in human resources and program management, Ms. Tucker currently serves as the Health Center Resources and Program Specialist for the City of Huntsville. In this vital role, she manages the City's Drug and Alcohol Program, ensuring compliance, safety, and well-being across departments. Her work includes training employees and supervisors, reviewing workplace incidents, leading policy education, and overseeing follow-up and reintegration programs for affected employees.

Ms. Tucker also collaborates with the City's third-party administrator to deliver comprehensive health and wellness services through the City's Health & Wellness Center. Her responsibilities extend to supporting the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), coordinating wellness initiatives, and assisting in benefits administration for City employees and their families. She develops and facilitates federally compliant training programs for safety-sensitive personnel and supervisors under FTA and FMCSA regulations.

Prior to her public sector career, Ms. Tucker built a distinguished 25-year tenure with Verizon, where she held a series of leadership roles across human resources and retail management. Beginning as a Retail Manager in 1999, she advanced into human resources, serving as Human Resources Coordinator, Business Partner, and Benefit's Case Manager. In these positions, she provided strategic HR guidance, resolved complex employee relations issues, and implemented workplace policy improvements that enhanced organizational culture and compliance.

Ms. Tucker earned an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Human Resources from American InterContinental University and later completed both a Bachelor's Certificate in Call Center Operations and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Corporate Communications from Bellevue University. She also holds a Life Coach Certification, which aligns with her dedication to mentorship and employee development.

Her professional affiliations include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the National Notary Association, the International Foundation of Employee and Benefit Plans. She also serves as Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Social Media on the Board of Directors of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) – Greater Huntsville Area Chapter.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Tucker remains deeply involved in her community. She is an active member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church led by Pastor T.C. Johnson, volunteers with the numerous organizations, and supports initiatives such as the "Second Chance" radio program host Kenny Anderson at WJOU and cancer awareness fundraisers. She plans to launch a mentoring program for young girls to help them identify their strengths and explore diverse career paths — including vocational trades and emerging industries like digital and social media management. Her long-term vision includes founding a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women in her community.

Ms. Tucker is happily married to her husband, Marvin Tucker. They are proud parents of two children — EnFynite (Daughter), a full-time college student, and Diamonte (Son), who is proudly building a career serving in the United States Air Force.
