HOPKINTON, MA, December 01, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Glory Shrivastava has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A distinguished expert in automation and controls, Ms. Shrivastava has been a senior control engineer at Electric Hydrogen since 2023. In this role, she design, implement and maintain safety and control systems for large-scale PEM electrolysis test stands, ensuring smooth and reliable operation of hydrogen production. Her work involves continuous improvement of test engineering processes, piloting new instrumentation and optimizing control strategies through PLC programming to enhance system performance and data quality. Additionally, she develops the human-machine interface (HMI) for the control room, allowing operators to visualize essential data to keep tests running efficiently. Ms. Shrivastava also addresses any issues that arise and is involved with the security aspects of coding.

Before her current position, Ms. Shrivastava served as a controls engineer III at Koch Engineered Solutions from 2022 to 2023. During her tenure there, she honed her expertise in designing and implementing advanced control and safety systems for Elevated Flares and Multipoint Ground Flares—equipment that plays a critical role in safe disposal of excess hydrocarbons, preventing hazardous pressure buildup and compliant operations across the oil and gas industry.

From 2017 to 2022, Ms. Shrivastava served as an instrument and controls manager at BORN Inc., where she led a team in the design and implementation of burner management systems for fired heaters in refinery operations. Her journey with BORN Inc. began in 2011 when she joined as an instrumentation and controls engineer. Over the course of six years, she developed expertise in managing complex control systems and contributed to numerous successful projects.

Ms. Shrivastava's academic background laid a strong foundation for her career achievements. She earned a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2011, where she focused on courses in optimization and control philosophy. Her undergraduate studies culminated in a Bachelor of Technology in electronics and instrumentation engineering from Dr. MGR University in Chennai in 2008. Her passion for electrical engineering was evident from the start of her undergraduate studies, where she developed a keen interest in sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.

Ms. Shrivastava's professional journey began with roles such as a graduate teaching assistant at Oklahoma State University from 2010 to 2011 and a laboratory assistant at Dr. MGR University from 2007 to 2008. She also gained valuable experience as a summer intern at Khijraj Motors in Chennai in 2006.

Ms. Shrivastava's contributions extend beyond her professional roles; she is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the International Society of Automation, Women in Manufacturing, and Women's ERG leadership. She was also previously affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Her dedication to her field is further exemplified by her publications, including "Comparison of Model-Based and Conventional Controllers on a Pilot-scale Heat Exchanger," published in ISA Transactions in 2013.

In her personal life, Ms. Shrivastava enjoys listening to music and podcasts, reading and caring for her two children. She attributes much of her success to the support of her father, who encouraged her to pursue further education in the United States, as well as her husband, whose shared commitment to family responsibilities has given her the space and bandwidth to excel in her professional career. Looking ahead, Ms. Shrivastava envisions advancing her career by taking on leadership roles within her team and eventually leading all groups involved with electrolyzer technology to meet energy demand through hydrogen production.
