Leveraging his deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and best practices in cybersecurity best practices, he contributed to the development and implementation of secure cloud solutions for clients.

Mr. Leos Rivas' tenure at Gemalto, now Thales Digital Identity and Security, spanned nearly a decade and included multiple roles in which he excelled. For two years, he worked in cloud security engineering, where he focused on enhancing the security posture of cloud-based products and services. From 2013 to 2020, he was a GGS worldwide solution security expert, providing strategic guidance on global security solutions and contributing to the advancement of secure digital identity technologies.

From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Leos Rivas held the position of Latin America solution security officer at Gemalto, overseeing regional security initiatives and web application firewall systems while ensuring compliance with international standards.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Leos Rivas was an information security analyst at Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) from 2007 to 2011. During this time, he was responsible for analyzing threats through vulnerability assessment tools and implementing measures to protect organizational assets. From 2000 to 2007, he worked as a network administrator at Sinergia Deportiva SA de CV, where he managed network and access control operations and ensured fast and safe network services.

In addition to his primary roles, Mr. Leos Rivas has contributed significantly as a skills author for Infosec since 2020. He has also been a subject matter expert for multiple cybersecurity and cloud CompTIA's certifications since 2017, underscoring his ongoing commitment to advancing industry knowledge and standards.

Mr. Leos Rivas' academic background has been pivotal in shaping his ascension through the technological realm. He earned a Master of Science in information security engineering with a focus on incident response from SANS Technology Institute in 2019, gaining specialized skills that have been directly applicable to his work in cybersecurity architecture and incident management.
