In 2003, Dr. Kiryakous founded Genesis Behavior Center Inc., specializing in applied behavior analysis therapy for children diagnosed with autism, ADD, ADHD and other behavioral pediatric diagnoses. Under her guidance, the center expanded its services to include in-home and on-site school support, providing one-on-one assistance for children aged 2 to 18. The establishment of the first on-site location in 2009 marked a significant milestone in accommodating the growing number of individuals with diagnosis with autism.
Dr. Kiryakous' team has developed a standardized assessment tool and enhanced the software to support daily use by behavioral health professionals and parents. It allows parents to monitor their child's daily progress and easily share information with their child's doctor or school to promote better collaboration of care.
Dr. Kiryakous' most notable achievement is FirstPath Software, an AI-powered platform designed to support children with autism and related developmental needs. It integrates advanced analytics, ABA therapy tools and social-emotional learning features into one comprehensive system. Built to serve both professionals and families, FirstPath offers real-time data tracking, personalized treatment planning and interactive tools that promote daily skill development and collaboration between parents, clinicians, and educators. This project began eight years ago with a team of 25 individuals and has since evolved into a tool that attracts substantial funding and benefits thousands of users. In addition to her software development efforts, Dr. Kiryakous created a comprehensive training video library for parents covering various treatments and skills for working with children with autism.
Dr. Kiryakous' dedication to supporting individuals diagnosed with autism extends to her interest in emerging behavioral and neuroscience research. Her involvement in this area has remained strictly educational and administrative, and she does not engage in the development, delivery, or clinical use of transcranial magnetic stimulation or any medical treatment.

Dr. Kiryakous's academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in sociology from California State University East Bay. She then pursued a master's degree in psychology before earning her Doctorate in psychology from the University of Arizona Global Campus. Born in Iran, Dr. Kiryakous immigrated to the United States in 1975, where she has since built a fulfilling personal life alongside her professional achievements. She cherishes spending time with her two daughters and six grandchildren, finding joy and inspiration in their company.
