NEW ORLEANS, LA, December 03, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amelie Lyles has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Lyles has established herself as a prominent creator in the New Orleans area, fueled by a lifelong passion for art and storytelling. Since founding Cleo Creative Co. in 2020, she has handled all aspects of her business operations and administrative duties. To this end, she is responsible for acquiring new clients, onboarding them and completing a variety of client projects — including websites, posters and festival materials — while also working on freelance assignments. Prior to founding Cleo, she sold art prints and completed freelance work for clients, but Cleo has given her a fresh new platform through which to share her talents with others. Her skills include creating personal illustrations and art for enjoyment as well as for sale, directing creative photo shoots and client projects, designing and building websites tailored to client needs, and performing live fashion sketches at events.
Over the past five years, Ms. Lyles has shown exceptional skill in illustration, storytelling, strategy and transforming brands into immersive experiences. She stresses that her approach to business is rooted in purpose, with creative direction guided by style, strategy and soul. She also helps clients build their unique brand identities and packaging, exemplifying her diverse skill set. Always taking a human-centered approach in all her work, Ms. Lyles has leveraged her creative voice to help her clients feel heard and tell their stories, celebrating their identities and fostering self-expression. Before founding Cleo Creative Co., Ms. Lyles worked as a junior graphic designer and a graphic designer at OrthoSynetics. She started her professional career as a digital media intern at TILT LLC.
Throughout her career, Ms. Lyles has achieved several notable milestones. She is especially proud of illustrating the children's book "All the Things a Little Girl Loves," written by a college friend. She also led a major government project to develop a website for a branch that helps victims of violence by offering resources, and she designed a brand for this initiative – named LAVO (Louisiana Victims Organization) – on behalf of the Louisiana Board of Pardons and the Committee on Parole. Additionally, Ms. Lyles contributed to influencer packaging in New York, including the relaunch packaging and new website for Skin by Ella Rose. Most importantly, she considers her greatest achievement to be owning her own business for five years and staying self-employed.
Ms. Lyles' educational background has played a key role in shaping her career path. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication and media studies from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge in 2018. During her senior year, she traveled to Amsterdam with the LSU graphic design school, a formative experience that strengthened her passion for art and confirmed her desire to pursue a career in graphic design.
Ms. Lyles' dedication to professional growth is evident in her previous membership in college student organizations, including AdFed, the Public Relations Student Society of America at LSU and the National Art Honor Society. While she was a member of the Alpha Phi Delta Tau chapter, she held leadership roles, including director of public relations, director of merchandise and web developer. In 2012, she also served as a mentor at St. Mary's Dominican High School, supporting students' artistic growth and personal development. Previously, she volunteered as a fundraiser for both the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association and contributed her time to Habitat for Humanity projects. Ms. Lyles is passionate about preserving the culture of New Orleans and enhancing the quality of life for its residents. As such, she seeks to maintain this preservation through social advocacy and local elections.
Ms. Lyles attributes much of her success to the resilience she developed while growing up in New Orleans during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The experience taught her persistence and emphasized the importance of community ties, values that still motivate her work today. Based on these experiences, Ms. Lyles emphasizes that work should aim to uplift others, and she has devoted much of her career to helping those in need.
Born in New Orleans into a Catholic Italian family with deep roots spanning four generations in the city, Ms. Lyles' parents have been influential figures. Her mother worked in sales, and her father in advertising, both providing unwavering support throughout her life. She lives with her husband, whom she met during college and recently married, in Mid City near the bayou, along with their seven-pound Yorkiepoo. Notably, NOW Weddings featured Ms. Lyles' New Orleans wedding in a magazine article titled "Big Love in the Big Easy."
Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Lyles enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, engaging in arts and crafts, attending live music events and walking in local parks. Looking ahead, she aims to focus on creating and selling art that combines lightheartedness with purpose, while seeking opportunities to connect with others and make meaningful contributions within her community.
