He played an instrumental role in spinning off a business unit from Harris Corporation into a standalone entity, a complex transition completed over two years culminating in a successful separation in 1999. He collaborated closely with other key individuals throughout the process, structuring the general ledger and implementing new software systems that laid the foundation for the new company's continued success. Mr. Gunn's academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University in 1998 and an Associate of Applied Science in electronics engineering from Tyler College in 1987. Mr. Gunn has pursued ongoing professional development throughout his career.
