SPRING, TX, December 04, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Victor Gonzalez has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Marked by more than three decades of significant contributions to the financial sector in Mexico and the United States, Mr. Gonzalez has established a remarkable career in investment banking and entrepreneurship. Since 2020, he has served as a partner at Heiser Development Corporation in San Antonio, Texas, where he has expanded the firm's development of multifamily projects in Greater San Antonio.
In 2016, Mr. Gonzalez founded Linq, a company that operates as a master servicer of structured finance products. Under his leadership, Linq has become a crucial member in the management of complex financial instruments and support of structured finance markets in Mexico.
Mr. Gonzalez is also the founder, chief executive officer and managing partner of i-Structure, an investment banking boutique he established in Mexico in 2009. The firm is dedicated to assisting middle-market clients with raising funds in the securities markets of Latin America and the United States.
Through i-Structure, Mr. Gonzalez has been recognized for his pioneering work in developing the securitization market in Mexico, particularly for accounts receivable securitizations. His efforts have enabled non-banking financial institutions to access critical funding through local securities markets. Since its inception, the company has structured more than 70 securitizations, primarily placed through Mexican securities markets, benefiting numerous non-bank financial institutions. When i-Structure began operating, it was the only independent structuring agent in the Mexican financial market; today, more than 10 firms compete in this space, a testament to his trailblazing impact on the industry.
Additionally, Mr. Gonzalez founded a private school in Mexico City called Colegio Lomas Hill in 2001. The institution — which offers certified bilingual constructivist education to enhance the interactive experience for young students — was established by his first wife and continues to serve as a prominent educational establishment in the region.
Earlier in his career, from 2001 to 2009, Mr. Gonzalez held the position of director at Ixe Grupo Financiero in Mexico City. In this capacity, he contributed to the firm's growth through mergers and acquisitions as well as his knowledge of structured public debt placements, growing his leadership acumen for his later ventures in the entrepreneurial realm.
From 1993 to 2001, Mr. Gonzalez excelled as vice president of Credit Suisse, where he gained valuable experience at this global investment bank and honed his expertise in the global corporate finance and energy groups throughout the United States and Latin America.
Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Gonzalez has diversified into multiple ventures across Mexico and Texas. Among these is a San Antonio-based firm established in 2023 that provides funding to individuals involved in litigation resulting from accidents caused by negligence. The company offers financial support to individuals during legal proceedings and collects repayment only if the litigation results in a settlement, ensuring that his clients are not burdened with debt if their cases are unsuccessful.
Additionally, Mr. Gonzalez is an active member of five associations of non-bank financial institutions in Mexico, reflecting his commitment to advancing industry standards and promoting collaboration within the sector.
Much of Mr. Gonzalez's success stems from his equally accomplished academic background. Pursuing higher education, he earned a Master of Business Administration in banking, corporate finance and securities law from Yale University in 1994. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in electronic systems from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Edo Mex), earned in 1990.
Initially driven by his curiosity about the emergence of computers, Mr. Gonzalez began his career as an engineer at Hewlett-Packard before recognizing greater opportunities for growth within the finance sector — a realization that prompted him to pursue advanced business studies and transition into investment banking.
Reflecting on his storied journey thus far, Mr. Gonzalez emphasizes the importance of being aware of his strengths and limitations as well as an enduring perseverance he developed during humble beginnings. Born in San Antonio and raised in Mexico City after being adopted at birth by a Mexican couple, his personal life has significantly shaped his values, aspirations and desire to help others through everything he does.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Gonzalez maintains an active lifestyle and is passionate about physical fitness and endurance sports. Having completed four Ironman triathlons to date, he enjoys exercising, strength training and running marathons as a balance to his entrepreneurial ventures. Happily married and a father of two children, he continues to balance his many endeavors with unwavering devotion to his family.
Dedicated to prioritizing team success over individual accolades, Mr. Gonzalez has repeatedly reinvented himself throughout his career in order to adopt best leadership practices and achieve a lasting impact in the international financial sector. Looking toward the future, he aims to ensure that each of his ventures will continue to thrive beyond his tenure by establishing robust processes where teams can thrive and continue to carry forward each company's mission in structured finance, investment banking and civic engagement.
