KENT, WA, December 04, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christina Anderson, MA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Anderson currently serves as assistant director of academy programs at Starfire Sports in Tukwila, Washington, a role she has held since 2025. In this capacity, she oversees the development and implementation of inclusive youth programming, drawing on her expertise in youth engagement and education. Starfire Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering world-class soccer experiences and social programs that inspire, encourage and empower thousands of young participants annually. The organization's commitment to community access brings approximately 1.3 million visits to its campus each year, offering the Starfire Soccer Academy, the Starfire STEM Academy for pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students, tournaments, team practices and both amateur and professional games.

Before her current position, Ms. Anderson was the STEM education program manager at Starfire Sports from 2024 to 2025. In this role, she managed educational initiatives that integrated science, technology, engineering and mathematics into sports programming for youth. Her leadership contributed to the expansion of the Starfire STEM Academy, furthering the organization's mission to provide accessible educational opportunities.

From 2023 to 2024, Ms. Anderson worked as a private events coordinator at The Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington. She was responsible for organizing and executing a variety of events within one of the region's premier cultural institutions, ensuring memorable experiences for guests while supporting the museum's educational outreach.

Since 2017, Ms. Anderson has also been a co-founder of Sheridan Art & Designs, LLC in Federal Way, Washington. Through this venture, she has demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen by developing creative projects and fostering community engagement in the arts.

Ms. Anderson's earlier career includes her tenure as lead museum educator in the 49ers EDU department of the San Francisco 49ers from 2016 to 2017. During this period, she played a pivotal role in the team's flagship field trip initiative, which engaged more than 400 participants daily and provided free access for Title I schools and children from underprivileged backgrounds. This program was instrumental in earning the ESPN Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year award in 2017, a milestone Ms. Anderson regards as her most notable achievement.

Her professional journey also includes experience as a grading assistant at San José State University from 2013 to 2014 and as an assistant curator at the same institution from 2012 to 2014. These roles allowed her to refine her skills in academic administration and curation while contributing to educational programming.

Ms. Anderson began her career as a file clerk at Tiny Prints in Mountain View, California, from 2010 to 2011 and as an event assistant with the San Francisco 49ers from 2006 to 2009. She also served as a tour guide at Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California, from 2006 to 2007.

Ms. Anderson's academic background includes a Master of Arts in museology from The Johns Hopkins University, earned in 2015, and a Bachelor of Arts in art history and visual culture from San José State University, completed in 2013. Her advanced studies have provided a strong foundation for her work in museum education, nonprofit leadership and program development.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Anderson has remained actively involved with civic-minded organizations. She served as a gallery assistant at The Walt Disney Family Museum in 2016 and was a board member and secretary for the Bay Area Women's Soccer League from 2015 to 2016. Her philanthropic efforts include supporting organizations such as the Humane Society and Wounded Warriors through charitable donations.

Ms. Anderson is committed to remaining active in the nonprofit sector, focusing on expanding access to programming, sports, and after-school activities for underprivileged children.
