He has also led national teams representing both Canada and the United States at international martial arts competitions, where his students have earned multiple medals. He has served as vice president of the International Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation since 2019, following his term as secretary general from 2015 to 2019. He is an honorary lifetime member of the Confederation of Canadian Wushu Organizations, an advisor with the International Wing Chun Council, and the secretary general of the United Wushu Association of Ontario.
