From 2001 to 2004, she served as assistant general manager and human resources representative at North Star Club, an ownership club, overseeing daily operations and managing personnel matters. This role allowed her to develop her leadership skills further and deepen her understanding of hospitality management.

Her tenure at Northstar-at-Tahoe, now part of Vail Resorts Management Company, spanned from 1990 to 2001. Initially hired as a switchboard operator, Ms. Arbo quickly expanded her expertise by taking on additional responsibilities in reservations, front desk operations, executive assistance and housekeeping. The comprehensive training she received during this period proved invaluable, equipping her with customer service and hospitality skills that have informed every subsequent role.

Before entering the hospitality sector, Ms. Arbo worked as a bookkeeper for 20 years. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in financial management and organizational skills that would later benefit her entrepreneurial endeavors.

Following her time at North Star Club, Ms. Arbo contributed her expertise to a janitorial supply company serving resorts throughout the Tahoe region. She then accepted a position as revenue auditor at The Hotel Nevada in Ely, where she was responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within the hotel's operations.

Ms. Arbo's educational background includes coursework at Sierra College in Rocklin, California. She is also a graduate of Del Oro High School in Loomis, California. The practical training she received during her years at Northstar-at-Tahoe was particularly influential in shaping her approach to customer service and hospitality, skills that have been instrumental throughout her career.

Born in Rock Springs, Ms. Arbo enjoys reading, sewing and playing pickleball outside of her professional commitments. She is dedicated to her family, which includes one daughter and three grandsons. Looking ahead, Ms. Arbo intends to continue advancing toward her personal and professional goals at Magnolia Gallery & Inn.
