ELMIRA, NY, December 10, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tina L. Butler has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Butler has established herself as a distinguished leader and expert in mental health counseling, with a career spanning two decades. As chief executive officer and founder of MAD PIT since 2025, she has dedicated her expertise to working with individuals who are mentally disabled, providing encouragement and support to enrich their lives. Her responsibilities include modeling appropriate social behaviors and assisting clients in coping with difficult decisions and daily routines, such as eating, dressing and hygiene. She is also responsible for completing paperwork for life care plans, outlining client status and crafting goals for positive development.
Ms. Butler's approach emphasizes compassion and hands-on guidance, holding clients' hands and fostering their creativity while guiding them to become appropriate citizens within their communities. She manages medication schedules, checks in with clients during outings for safety, conducts body checks upon return and facilitates evening activities like playing cards or board games. Additionally, she documents electronic notes, enters medication into electronic health records and ensures seamless communication by reporting daily activities to overnight staff at the end of each shift.
A particularly notable achievement in Ms. Butler's career occurred during her work with a challenging client at a group home. When the client arrived, they exhibited severe physical behaviors and were on multiple control medications. Over four and a half months, Ms. Butler and her team implemented a consistent approach that fostered trust and communication. Their efforts led to a significant reduction in disruptive behaviors and allowed the client to be taken off two medications. This transformation stands as a testament to Ms. Butler's commitment to teamwork, patient care and positive outcomes.
In 2025, Ms. Butler also became an entrepreneur with Thrive After 45, where she further demonstrated her dedication to supporting individuals through life transitions and personal growth. Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, she served as a secretary at Arnott Ogden Medical Center for 11 years. In this capacity, she gained invaluable experience in health care administration, which later influenced her innovative approach to medical documentation.
Academically, Ms. Butler's academic foundation includes an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences from Corning Community College in Corning, New York, earned in 1992. Beyond her education, she credits her success to her ability to communicate effectively and seek help when needed, recognizing that collaboration with like-minded individuals has been instrumental in bringing her ideas to fruition.
Ms. Butler's journey into the mental health field was shaped by extensive experience in health care roles such as secretary, clinician and mental health counselor. Witnessing firsthand the burdens of medical documentation inspired her to develop an artificial intelligence platform aimed at alleviating these challenges for clinicians while enhancing patient care.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Butler is most proud of her role as a mother. She takes great pride in raising her daughter, Kiah Reaves, who is currently a sophomore at Ithaca College. Ms. Butler believes that Kiah's empathy, compassion and ability to connect with others are remarkable qualities that surpass her own achievements. As a dedicated single mother, she seeks to balance professional commitments with significant family responsibilities, also caring for her elderly mother.
In her personal life, Ms. Butler enjoys playing tennis, pickleball and bingo as well as walking during her leisure time. Looking ahead, she intends to launch the advancement of Mad Pit GPS. A company pioneering the next generation of clinical technology with the launch of its Governance, Platform, and Clinical Operating System (GPS P.A.C.O.S.™). Built on a foundation of architectural integrity, continuous learning (G.U.L.F.™), full workflow integration (P.A.C.O.S.™), and clinical safety (S.A.N.D.B.O.X.™), Mad Pit GPS provides physicians with the reliable, integrated relief necessary to reverse administrative burnout, protect patient care quality, and secure the future of the healthcare workforce.
