Prior to joining Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates, Dr. Meyer completed a rigorous cosmetic surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery from 2023 to 2024 to further refine her surgical skills. Upon Completion of her fellowship and successful board certification, the academy formally recognized her for her 'Educational Contributions, Sharing of Knowledge, and Commitment to the Specialty of Cosmetic Surgery,' in 2024 and 2025. She is now a member of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery Exam Committee.

From 2018 to 2023, Dr. Meyer served as a general surgeon during her residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Her exemplary performance earned her the 'Chief Resident of the Year' award upon her graduation in 2023, an honor bestowed by attending surgeons within the hospital system. She was also recognized with the 'Exemplary Patient Ambassador' award in 2021 and the 'COVID-19 Pandemic Service and Sacrifice Award' that same year, underscoring her commitment to patient advocacy and service during challenging times.

Much of Dr. Meyer's professional success stems from her equally impressive academic journey. She began her pursuit of higher education at Trinity Western University in British Columbia, Canada, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2013. As a student-athlete on a soccer scholarship, she contributed to three national championship victories with the Trinity Western Spartans women's soccer team in 2008, 2009 and 2012. She was also selected as a member of the Canadian national soccer team during her collegiate years. Upon graduating from Trinity, she continued her education at St. George's University School of Medicine, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine in 2018.

To augment her surgical knowledge and technical skill, while specializing in an area of utmost interest and passion, Dr. Meyer became board certified as a Cosmetic Surgeon. She is also an active member of organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and Women in Cosmetic Surgery, reflecting her desire to expand her network and remain at the forefront of best surgical practices. Furthermore, she serves as a diplomat, oral board examiner, and exam writing committee member with the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

In recognition of her exemplary dedication to her patients, professional growth, and empowering others within her field, Dr. Meyer has been honored with numerous accolades such as being named Top Doctor by 405 Magazine and nomination for Top Cosmetic Surgeon by the same publication, both in 2025. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Meyer has demonstrated a longstanding devotion to community service and volunteerism. She has participated in mission trips to Paraguay, Argentina, South Africa and Mexico through Trinity Western University, volunteering at schools, soup kitchens, churches, and orphanages. During her residency in New York, she volunteered at local soup kitchens, participated in after school tutoring programs, organized seasonal toy and food drives, and provided pro bono surgical procedures and services at local clinics.

Reflecting on her storied journey thus far, Dr. Meyer attributes her success to the core values instilled in her by her parents, Shelley and Curtis Meyer: hard work, integrity, self-belief, passion for one's work, dedication to helping others, commitment to always putting forth one's best effort, and striving for excellence. Inspired by these principles, along with her undergraduate mission experiences at Trinity Western University, she pursued medical school overseas before returning to practice general surgery in the United States — a path that ultimately led her to specialize in cosmetic surgery in Oklahoma City.

Determined to further her impact in the future, Dr. Meyer has excitedly contributed to the startup of a new practice called, Surgical Artistry, in Lake Charles, Louisiana - founded by Dr. Norman Stewart, who, as a double-board certified OBGYN and Cosmetic Surgeon, has dedicated his life's work and the mission of his practice to providing exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care, and outstanding cosmetic surgery results. Dr. Meyer is deeply devoted to ensuring the success of this practice while maintaining her high standards of patient care in Oklahoma City.
