Mr. Tahir's leadership as the general manager of digital at Habib Bank Limited, Pakistan's leading Bank, between 2016 and 2020 was also instrumental in his career growth.

Among other notable roles, Mr. Tahir held pivotal positions at Telenor Microfinance Bank Limited between 2012 and 2016, including chief strategy officer and chief risk officer. He also excelled as a Scival consultant and assistant director at Elsevier from 2011 to 2012, and as a manager of business advisory services at Protiviti between 2009 and 2011. Mr. Tahir's global business development experience was honed at Johnson & Johnson from 2007 to 2009, after consulting for the Asian Development Bank and serving as an associate analyst at Fidelity Investments, dating back to 1999.

Mr. Tahir's academic background laid a strong foundation for his illustrious career. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, economics and political science from Dartmouth College in 1999, followed by a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from Daniel Webster College in 2001 and a Master of Business Administration in global management and strategy from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in 2007. Mr. Tahir's education has been instrumental in his ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive innovation. Additionally, he is recognized as a certified board director by the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.

Mr. Tahir's commitment to financial inclusion is evident through his membership in industry-related organizations, such as OPEn: Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs since 2000, and his directorship at the Babson Consulting Club since 2006. In addition to his professional affiliations, he is recognized for his contributions to civic organizations, including the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust and the Kiran Foundation. Additionally, Mr. Tahir serves as a member of the technical advisory committee for the Pakistan National Human Development Report, under the United Nations Development Programme, an agency tasked with helping countries eliminate poverty and achieve sustainable economic growth and human development.
