Angela J. Perez is a rising leader in the field of engineering design, with over five years of experience to her credit. Since 2023, she has served as the founder and owner of AJ Mechanical Design LLC in East Chicago, Indiana, where she designs and develops prototypes in engineering spaces. Previously, Ms. Perez worked for her alma mater, Purdue University Northwest, for several years. Ms. Perez began her studies at Ivy Tech Community College in 2016 before transferring to Purdue University Northwest in the Spring of 2017, where she completed her Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering in 2021. In 2021, she served as a design and development technician until 2023. Prior to assuming her current role, Ms. Perez served as an administrative assistant for her alma mater for one year. Currently, Ms. Perez is pursuing a master's degree in industrial engineering technology.
