ATHENS, TX, December 12, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeff Weinstein has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Weinstein has established a distinguished career as an attorney, serving as the principal at Weinstein Law since 1987. Over many years, he has become recognized as an expert in personal injury law, consistently advocating for individuals facing formidable opposition from large corporations and complex legal systems. His commitment to justice and client care is underscored in his long-standing leadership of the firm, where he has continuously sought to improve operations and outcomes, particularly with the aspiration of one day passing the business to his youngest daughter, who has expressed a keen interest in pursuing law.
Throughout his tenure at Weinstein Law, Mr. Weinstein has demonstrated exceptional professional engagement through active membership in several industry organizations. He is affiliated with the National Injury Board, the American Bar Association, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the American Association for Justice and numerous others. His leadership roles include serving as the past president of the Henderson County Bar Association and as a past board member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Laying the foundation for Mr. Weinstein's professional endeavors was his academic background, which began with a Bachelor of Arts in finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983. Although initially intending to pursue a career in banking, he shifted his trajectory toward law, which led him to earn his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1986. The values instilled during his upbringing in a family-owned hardware store — where customer care was paramount — have profoundly influenced his approach to legal practice.
In addition to being admitted to practice by the State Bar of Texas and State Bar of Wisconsin, Mr. Weinstein holds credentials before various federal courts, including the United States District Court's Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. His appellate practice extends to the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th Circuits.
Resilience has been central to Mr. Weinstein's professional philosophy. He attributes much of his success to viewing setbacks as opportunities for growth rather than endpoints. This perspective has enabled him to persevere through challenges and maintain a steadfast commitment to helping clients navigate adversity.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Weinstein has contributed extensively to legal scholarship and education through publications and presentations. Notable works include "Advocacy in Mediation: A Plaintiff's Perspective," published in both the Texas Bar Journal in 1996 and in The Advocate's State Bar of Texas Litigation Section Report in 1994; "Videotaped Depositions: Procedural Requirements" in PESI in 1995; "Claim Negotiation" at the 1994 University of Houston Law Foundation Advanced Insurance Seminar; and many others.
Throughout his career, Mr. Weinstein's professional excellence has been recognized with several prestigious awards. Among these accolades are the Community Service Award from the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association in 2025, the Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Award from the American Association for Justice in 2013 and inclusion among the Top 50 Jury Awards in the United States in 2002.
Outside his legal practice, Mr. Weinstein is deeply involved in civic initiatives as the founding director of NODD.org (NO to Distracted Driving) and the founder of the Silver Screen Movie Club, which provides free movie screenings each month for seniors. This community initiative includes more than 3,500 members and annually donates thousands of pounds of food items to local pantries through its unique admission policy requiring attendees to contribute nonperishable goods.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Weinstein considers his greatest achievement to be his wife and four daughters. Looking ahead, he hopes that his youngest daughter will pursue her law degree and join him in continuing the family legacy at Weinstein Law — a prospect that fills him with pride and anticipation for what lies ahead.
