AUSTIN, TX, December 17, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel C. Levie has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Levie has built a reputation as a dynamic entrepreneur whose work spans international trade, creative media, hospitality, and community development. Since 2024, he has served as the managing director of San Marco Trading Company, where he oversees global communications, logistics, and strategy for international import–export operations. In this role, he collaborates with partners across Italy and the United States, coordinates market expansion initiatives, and supports artisanal Italian producers in entering new markets.

Since 2023, Mr. Levie has also led TriFive Travel Company, which he co-founded to meet the growing demand for culturally immersive travel. Partnering with Emmy Award–winning cinematographer Rommel Genciana, he produces high-quality travel media that showcases lesser-known destinations and fosters cross-cultural understanding. Through TriFive, he also helps small towns and off-the-beaten-track communities develop effective marketing campaigns and attract tourism through targeted videos, strategic storytelling, and customized advertising programs that highlight their unique heritage and landscapes.

In 2022, Mr. Levie founded Austin Design Lab, a creative fabrication and media production company specializing in custom design, artisan woodworking, experiential installations, and documentary filmmaking. Working with Asmbly Makerspace, he has helped advance mission-driven projects, including the production of a documentary inspired by the nationally recognized educational book "Thriving in a Public School."

From 2015 to 2021, concurrent with his tenure at UC Berkeley, Mr. Levie served as the principal owner of PK Rico, a commercial hot sauce company he built using ingredients sourced from local farmers within a 50-mile radius. Through PK Rico, he supported regional agriculture while demonstrating entrepreneurial skill in product development, small-batch manufacturing, and local market distribution. During these same years, he excelled as a sous chef at the University of California, Berkeley, assisting with major university events, dignitary receptions, athletic hospitality programs, and large-scale dining operations. He also served as sous-chef for two hospitals run by Morrison Healthcare, deepening his expertise in operations, nutrition-focused service, and team leadership.

His earlier culinary career included foundational and leadership roles at the Hilton Garden Inn, Carrabba's, Village Pizzeria, Adrienne's Pizza Bar, Rowe Cuisine, and Flippen Pizza. He also gained valuable experience in business development and client relations as vice president of sales and marketing at Ananda Business Solutions from 2009 to 2010.

A major milestone in Mr. Levie's career is his leadership of the San Marco Community School initiative—a transformative educational and cultural development project in San Marco dei Cavoti, Italy. Under his guidance, the initiative secured a long-term agreement with the municipality and received support from government ministers pending final grant announcements. The school aims to expand educational opportunities, strengthen ties with Italian diaspora communities, and integrate tourism, culinary heritage, and cultural programming into a revitalized town campus.

Committed to lifelong learning, Mr. Levie earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Florida Southern College in 1999. Prior to this, he attended Herkimer County Community College, where he achieved distinction both academically and athletically—winning two national championships in soccer and being honored as an Academic All-American. He also competed at an elite youth level, representing New York on the State Olympic Development Program (ODP) soccer team. He completed a diploma in Italian language at the Leonardo da Vinci School of Language in Florence in 2000. While working at UC Berkeley, he completed professional culinary coursework and later earned a certificate in leadership and management from UC Berkeley Extension in 2019.

Mr. Levie attributes much of his drive and discipline to the values instilled by his parents—both educators—who encouraged curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to personal growth. His strong work ethic developed early: at age 8 he became an official soccer referee, at 11 he took on two paper routes, and at 12 he earned his first pizzeria job at the Big Belly Deli—experiences that shaped his appreciation for responsibility, teamwork, and community.

Outside his professional endeavors, Mr. Levie is deeply engaged in family and personal interests. He coaches his sons' youth soccer teams, enjoys disc golf, and spends time reading and writing. Central to his life is his wife, Chaitra, whom he met 25 years ago in Florence, Italy, during his language studies. Their enduring partnership continues to inspire his work, his travels, and his commitment to cultural exchange and education.

He also maintains a strong commitment to community engagement. After his company won the annual Fortlandia competition, Mr. Levie donated an experiential installation to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, where over 200,000 visitors experienced the piece during its exhibition. He continues to give his time to support the Center's public programs and creative initiatives, reflecting his dedication to sustainability, design, and enriching the community through accessible, immersive experiences.

Looking ahead, Mr. Levie aims to continue the expansion of the San Marco Community School, strengthen international cultural exchange programs, and broaden his import–export operations across continents. He is currently working to complete his documentary project, "Thriving in Public Schools," as well as his upcoming feature film "Caputo," based on the life of Lino Caputo in Naples.
