In this capacity, he has demonstrated expertise in organizational management and faith-based nonprofit leadership, guiding the organization's mission to provide hope, healing and restoration to communities locally and abroad. His most notable professional achievement occurred in 2017 when he led a unit during the 500th commemoration of the Protestant Reformation in Italy. This initiative fostered meaningful relationships with the community in Rome, Milan, Genoa, Florence, Naples and utilized ministry as a vehicle to bring hope and healing to elderly, aging and sick individuals throughout Europe. In addition to his work with Life Waters Ministries International Inc., Mr. Johnson is the owner of Jimmy Johnson Photography LLC, which he established in 2019. As a professional freelance photographer, he combines his passion for visual storytelling with a commitment to wellness and community engagement.

From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Johnson held the position of acting chief operating officer at the Office of Financial Research within the United States Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C. He previously served as deputy chief operating officer at the same office from 2013 to 2016, where he contributed to operational excellence and strategic planning for federal financial research initiatives.

Prior to his tenure at the Department of the Treasury, Mr. Johnson was a project manager specializing in acquisition and contracting at The MITRE Corporation from 2007 to 2013. In this role, he supported Federally Funded Research and Development projects that advanced national security.

Mr. Johnson began his professional journey with a distinguished career in the United States Air Force from 1980 to 2006. Mr. Johnson retired as a Colonel and received numerous distinguished medals to include the Legion of Merit. His military service of excellence, selfless sacrifices, and integrity provided the foundation for his later achievements in leadership, administration and community outreach.

Throughout his career, Mr. Johnson has been recognized for organizing impactful events such as the Sarcoma REACH Annual Gala, which raises awareness and support for those affected by sarcoma cancer. He is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Inc., reflecting his commitment to professional development and service.

Mr. Johnson's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration and certificate in project management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, DeVry Educational Development Corp., earned in 2020; a Master of Science in general administration from Central Michigan University in 1997; a Master of Science in industrial safety management from the University of Central Missouri in 1985; and a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1980. These academic achievements have equipped him with advanced skills that have been instrumental throughout his multifaceted career.

Mr. Johnson's entry into faith-based service was inspired by his wife's calling to ministry after she completed her Doctor of Philosophy in higher education. Together they co-founded Life Waters Ministries International Inc., formalizing their shared commitment to outreach and healing through nonprofit work. He also serves as a church leader at Antioch Baptist Church in Fairfax, Virginia, and is actively involved in ministry, outreach and community support alongside his family.

Mr. Johnson attributes his success to unwavering faith and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, guided by the philosophy that "with God in your heart and knowledge in your mind, no one can stop you." This foundational belief has shaped his approach to leadership, family life and collaboration with people from diverse backgrounds.

In his personal life, Mr. Johnson values faith, education and music as central pillars within his close-knit family, which includes his wife, daughter, and three grandchildren.
