Mr. Bohuslavskiy is a cybersecurity leader who concentrates on complex ransomware and cybercrime investigations. As co-founder of AdvIntel and RedSense, he has helped map and monitor the infrastructure behind groups such as Ryuk, TrickBot, Conti, and Akira, actively supporting the US law enforcement with primary intelligence. His work centers on discreetly collecting technical and behavioral intelligence—servers, command-and-control nodes, actor identities, and internal communications—using methods informed by classical intelligence tradecraft. He also leads a five-person engineering team that builds the scalable, automated tooling that supports these HUMINT and SIGINT efforts.

Before joining RedSense as co-founder, Mr. Bohuslavskiy served as a research assistant at the Wilson Center (2014–2015). He refined his investigative approach at Kroll as a due diligence researcher (2016–2017) and later provided business intelligence analysis on Arabic markets for TD International LLC (2017). From 2018 to 2019, he broadened his perspective as a cyber-threat intelligence analyst at Flashpoint—an experience, alongside his time at Kroll, that he considers especially formative.

In 2019, Mr. Bohuslavskiy co-founded Advanced Intelligence (AdvIntel) and directed its research-and-development program through 2023. Working with chief executive and fellow co-founder Vitali Kremez, he helped grow the firm to roughly $7 million in annual revenue within three years, entirely without outside investment. After Mr. Kremez's tragic passing in 2022, Mr. Bohuslavskiy joined longtime colleague Michael Zeiger at RedSense, continuing the investigative work they had begun at AdvIntel and honoring Mr. Kremez's legacy.

Mr. Bohuslavskiy earned an M.A. in security policy studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. His academic path also includes a Jewish studies fellowship at Princeton and the University of Oxford's Summer Institute in Religion and Politics. Drawing on this interdisciplinary foundation, he participates in the Faith-Based Information Security & Awareness Organization (FB-ISAO). Having arrived in the United States as a refugee, he actively supports immigrant and refugee rights, with a focus on Ukrainian and Russian asylum-seeker communities in New York City. His book "Alliance of the Periphery: How Security Pragmatism Drove Israel, Iran, and Turkey Together During the Cold War" published by Covenant Books, is currently in print and should be available in stores next month.

Looking ahead, Mr. Bohuslavskiy plans to translate his team's cyber-intelligence tradecraft into technology-driven tools that extend defensive scale and speed. Collaborating with RedSense founder and fellow cybersecurity leader Michael Zeiger—and sharing intelligence with law-enforcement partners—he is developing threat-detection and proactive identification solutions designed to spot and disrupt attacks before criminal actors can inflict damage.
