Earlier in her career, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette held a range of operational and administrative leadership roles across multiple industries. From 2018 to 2020, she served as operations manager at WSP, supporting internal stakeholders and contributing to major infrastructure initiatives, including Los Angeles Metro expansion projects and high-speed rail development. She previously worked as an operations manager at Houlder America, an office manager at Mitsui & Co., and an executive administrator at G.E.T. Enterprises. Her background also includes account management and marketing roles at Idea Integration, Valassis, and Enventure GT.

Ms. Mayfield-Marchette began her career in New York City at BBDO Worldwide, where she spent ten years supporting national advertising accounts, including Pepsi. That experience helped shape her approach to client relationships, communication, and operational excellence.

She earned an Associate of Applied Science in advertising and marketing from The City University of New York in 1992. She later earned an Associate of Applied Science in paralegal studies from The Center for Advanced Legal Studies in 2007.

Throughout her career, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette has remained committed to mentorship and professional development.
