In 2021, Mr. Desrosiers was appointed director of engineering and construction for the New England Clean Energy Connect (NECEC) project at Central Maine Power Company. This $1.5 billion initiative was one of the most challenging and high-profile projects in his career, involving extensive public scrutiny, two referendums and a legal challenge to permitting. His leadership guided the project through design, permitting and into construction, providing him with valuable exposure to new aspects of business operations and significantly broadening his professional expertise.

From 2018 to 2021, Mr. Desrosiers managed the NECEC project team, overseeing all phases of planning and execution for this major infrastructure investment. His earlier roles at Central Maine Power Company included serving as manager in NECEC project from 2018 to 2021, manager in substation operations from 2011 to 2014—where he oversaw approximately 250 substations and managed maintenance crews—and project manager from 2010 to 2011. He began his tenure at Central Maine Power Company as construction manager from 2008 to 2010, where he was responsible for multiple utility construction projects as part of the projects group.

Mr. Desrosiers launched his career at Spaulding Engineering and Construction Services in 2004 as an assistant engineer. Working in a small family-owned firm operated by his uncle, he gained hands-on experience in drafting, entry-level engineering tasks and field construction management projects related to hydro stations, substations and industrial facilities.

Throughout his career, Mr. Desrosiers has been actively involved in industry organizations and civic initiatives. He serves on the board of the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine and volunteers with the Travis Mills Foundation, participating in activities such as annual golf tournaments and contributing to spring clean-up efforts.

Mr. Desrosiers' educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in energy management from Bismarck State College in Bismarck, completed in 2024, and an Associate of Applied Science in architectural and engineering technology from Central Maine Community College in Auburn, completed in 2005. He also holds a certificate in project management from the University of Southern Maine, earned in 2012, and maintains a South Carolina general contractor license. The pursuit of his bachelor's degree while balancing a demanding career and family responsibilities stands as a testament to his determination and commitment to personal growth.
