Mr. Jimenez's professional journey is marked by a steadfast commitment to social justice leadership and empowerment. In 2024, he assumed the role of chief program officer at Rural and Migrant Ministry Inc., an organization established in 1981. Mr. Jimenez's leadership is characterized by a focus on innovation and strategic growth, reflecting his dedication to serving migrant and rural communities.

Before progressing to his current position, Mr. Jimenez served as the western New York coordinator for Rural and Migrant Ministry Inc. from 2022 to 2024. During this period, he was responsible for developing regional programs and supporting youth engagement efforts, and he collaborated with local partners to address the unique needs of rural populations and advocating for systemic change. From 2020 to 2024, Mr. Jimenez was also the associate western New York coordinator at Rural and Migrant Ministry Inc., where he helped advance the expansion of outreach initiatives and played a key role in building relationships with community stakeholders.

Between 2019 and 2020, Mr. Jimenez excelled as the health and wellness coordinator at the Spanish Action League of Onondaga County. There, he identified significant levels of domestic violence affecting women in the community and responded by founding a program within the organization's domestic violence department. He built this initiative from inception, ensuring that women had access to critical resources and support systems necessary to escape dangerous situations. Mr. Jimenez's foundational experience includes serving as an outreach worker at Oswego County Opportunities Inc. from 2018 to 2019, and from 2014 to 2018, he thrived as a tutor and outreach worker with CITI-BOCES, providing educational support to migrant youth and fostering connections within the migrant community.

As a volunteer, he travels to educate community members about new policies and laws, ensuring they remain informed and empowered. Mr. Jimenez is also passionate about public speaking and regularly connects with students at various educational institutions, offering engaging content by drawing on his own experiences as a young immigrant facing adversity.

A passion for lifelong learning has played a pivotal role in Mr. Jimenez's career trajectory. In 2016, he completed an associate degree from Cayuga Community College after beginning his studies as a high school student who had recently immigrated from Guatemala. He subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in health and wellness from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2019, where he deepened his understanding of holistic health practices while working with homeless individuals and underserved communities. Additionally, Mr. Jimenez holds a master's degree in applied clinical nutrition from Northeast College of Health Sciences in 2024, which he considers among his most significant accomplishments given the challenges he overcame in pursuit of higher education.

In addition to his formal education, Mr. Jimenez has secured distinct industry credentials that enhance his presence in the field, including certified personal fitness trainer from the International Sports Sciences Association and Bridges Out of Poverty certification from the Health and Wellness Department. He attributes his success to hard work, perseverance and the influence of numerous role models who have shared their wisdom throughout his life. Above all, Mr. Jimenez values genuine connections with others and encourages others to pursue their passions.

To achieve balance, Mr. Jimenez enjoys traveling, taking long drives, exploring new towns, and learning more about nutrition and personal well-being. He is exploring options to further his education and may pursue a doctorate, while he plans to remain committed to working with his community and closely with younger generations as they grow into future leaders. Looking toward the future, Mr. Jimenez will persist in his work to connect with the community and to serve as a positive role model for those who may feel discouraged or uncertain about their paths forward.
