Her proficiency in marketing was preceded by her role as a marketing coordinator, demonstrating her adaptability and growth within the field.

A prolific writer and communicator, Ms. Reed contributed regularly to Authentically-You-Magazine from 2016 to 2021. She also launched the Simply Cindy Blog on Blogspot in 2017, where she shares personal reflections and collaborates with a team of writers on topics including sports, health, and fitness.

Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Ms. Reed established a distinguished career as an administrative assistant. She held key positions at Sherpa LLC from 2017 to 2018 and for Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, in 2018. Ms. Reed's most significant tenure was with ExxonMobil from 1996 to 2015, where she dedicated nearly two decades of service. During her time at ExxonMobil, she received both the Peer Recognition Award and the Reaching for Excellence Award in 2008 in recognition of her outstanding contributions.

At the outset of her career, Ms. Reed attended Hunter Business School in New York, where she completed the advanced program in Administrative Assistant and Secretarial Science with honors in 1983. Ms. Reed's literary achievements are among her proudest accomplishments. She authored "Twisted Reality" in 2016 and "Diesel: The Dittleberry's Diva" in 2019, both published by Pearly Gates Publishing.
