PEORIA, AZ, January 13, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Melissa Lyall has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to creative pursuits, Ms. Lyall has led a diverse and accomplished journey in baking and graphic design. In 2024, she became the owner of Honeybee Sunrise, a home-operated baking venture based in Peoria, Arizona, that specializes in gluten-friendly shortbread cookies. With a passion for safely serving all customers — particularly those seeking diabetic-friendly snacks that do not raise blood sugar levels — Honeybee Sunrise has quickly become an emerging name throughout the Peoria community. Recently recognized as a TOP 3 of 2025 Peoria Award Winner in Bakery - an honor based on verified Google Reviews from Business Rate.

Ms. Lyall's responsibilities with Honeybee Sunrise include ensuring that all necessary materials are available to fulfill orders placed through Shopify, baking orders at night after returning home from her day job, cooking them the following day and shipping them promptly to guarantee maximum freshness for her customers. A true passion project, this venture represents the fulfillment of her long-held love of both baking and entrepreneurship.

Along with launching Honeybee Sunrise, Ms. Lyall has built a distinguished career as a graphic designer. Since 2018, she has served as a Designer III at W.C. Bradley Co., a leading consumer goods entity where she contributes her expertise in visual communication and design strategy. From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a graphic web designer at Sper Scientific Direct, further honing her skills in digital media while maintaining content for e-commerce and business-to-business websites. She also spent three years as a graphics designer in marketing and customer service at Performance Automotive Group, Inc., where she managed branding initiatives and designed promotional items such as magazine advertisements, brochures and catalogs.

Ms. Lyall's earlier professional experience include working as a point-of-sale associate at Kohl's from 2011 to 2012 and as a signing specialist with Target from 2009 to 2010. She also served as a production artist and graphic designer at BrainWorx Studio, Inc. from 2007 to 2009, where she was responsible for creating compelling visual content for various clients. Additionally, she contributed her talents as a graphic designer at both Maitland Primrose Group and Moving Pictures Magazine. Each of these roles allowed her to fine-tune her design skills and attention to detail, all of which she continues to utilize in her work at Honeybee Sunrise and W.C. Bradley.

Also a veteran of the United States Army, Ms. Lyall dedicated eight years to exemplary military service before transitioning into her civilian career. She credits her military background with instilling in her a mentality of perseverance, confidence and continuous self-improvement — qualities that have been pivotal in her professional achievements.

Ms. Lyall's academic foundation includes earning a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Collins College in Tempe in 2007. Dedicated to making an impact outside the classroom as well, she worked as a facilities manager during her time at the institution. Her education provided her with the technical skills and creative insight necessary for success in both her graphic design career and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Lyall is civically engaged as a volunteer with St. Mary's Food Bank, reflecting her dedication to giving back to her community. Though her journey counts many milestones, she is especially proud to have realized her dream of pursuing a career in graphic design and successfully opening her own business — all while nurturing her passion for baking.

In addition to baking, Ms. Lyall enjoys painting and building Lego creations as a balance to her graphic design endeavors. Looking to the future, she aspires to open a brick-and-mortar store where customers can purchase her shortbread cookies directly. Her storied journey exemplifies resilience, creativity and an unwavering devotion to personal growth and community service.
