Prior to founding The Conquer Group, Mr. Nitz spent 15 years on the retail side of the automotive industry. Darren started as a porter washing cars and ended up as a dealership owner. Throughout his career, Mr. Nitz was a technician (Mercedes-Benz Master Certified), a sales associate, finance manager, sales manager, general sales manager, and general manager.

Throughout his career, Mr. Nitz has established himself as an expert in the automotive industry, earning recognition for both his technical knowledge and managerial acumen. He has received multiple top producer awards in acknowledgment of his outstanding performance and contributions to the field. Mr. Nitz broke many sales and profit numbers along the way. The greatest achievement for Mr. Nitz is the amount of leaders that were produced from his former staffs. Many went on to become managers and dealership owners themselves.

Academically, Mr. Nitz was not what most would consider a successful student. Mr. Nitz attended one semester at Northern Michigan University before deciding that the normal college experience wasn't for him. He then attended and graduated from Ohio Technical College with a certificate in Automotive Service Technology. His uncommon academic experience has shaped his professional success.

Mr. Nitz's greatest professional accomplishment is his development of DefaltShield. DefaultShield is a program that insures auto loans for the underserved market.
