Her earlier work included a sales position at Michaels Jewelers in the late 1990s and again from 2017 to 2019, during which she honed her customer service and attention-to-detail skills. Earlier in her career, Ms. Zordan worked in health care as an occupational therapist for 10 years, starting in 1994.

Ms. Zordan's academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, in 1994. She also maintains certification as an occupational therapist from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Moreover, Ms. Zordan has been an accredited travel agent through the International Air Transport Association since 2005.

Active in her professional community, Ms. Zordan is a member of the International Air Transport Association and the Nexion Travel Group, underscoring her commitment to industry standards and ongoing professional development in the travel sector.

Beyond her professional commitments, Ms. Zordan is actively involved in civic organizations. She is a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and served as Exalted Ruler of Torrington Elks Lodge #372 from 2024-2025. Additionally she served as their booking agent from 2018 to 2024 and currently volunteers as a server for Elk sponsored dinner events and serves as a Trustee for the 2025-2026 Elk year. Additionally, Ms. Zordan volunteers with Unico, an Italian-based national community organization.
