Mr. Belsky currently serves as founder and chief executive officer of Good Rebellion, a role he has held since 2019. Prior to founding Good Rebellion, Mr. Belsky was managing director at a New York City branding agency from 2018 to 2019. During his tenure, he oversaw creative direction and client engagement, further honing his expertise in branding and communications strategy.

From 2017 to 2018, Mr. Belsky served as senior director of communications at the Fund for New York City Public Schools. In this role, he established the organization's communications function from the ground up, setting a foundation for effective outreach and stakeholder engagement.

Between 2008 and 2017, Mr. Belsky was director of marketing and creative services at the State University of New York System. He played a pivotal role in the large-scale rebranding of the entire system, which required aligning sixty-four distinct campus brands under a unified identity—an effort that contributed to making it the largest public university system in the United States. Additionally, he led the comprehensive overhaul of suny.edu over a two-year period and was deeply involved in strategic planning and legislative advocacy initiatives focused on issues such as right-sizing tuition costs. During this time, Mr. Belsky also began speaking at national conferences about the future of higher education and necessary reforms within the industry.

In 2008, Mr. Belsky worked as an environmental, health, safety and risk management assistant at the City University of New York, where he supported compliance initiatives and risk mitigation strategies.
