He currently serves as Senior Manager of Prototype Battery Build and Validation at Lucid Motors, Newark, CA, a role he has held since 2022. In this capacity, Mr. Prigg is responsible for prototype battery assembly, testing and validation as well as advancing battery technologies for electric vehicles. His expertise in operational management and technical subjects has been instrumental in his ability to thrive in new environments and cultures, as demonstrated by his recent promotion at Lucid.

From 2018 to 2022, Mr. Prigg served as Manager of Battery Test at UTAC (formerly Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedford, UK). In this role, he led teams responsible for comprehensive battery testing protocols, supporting the company's efforts to deliver reliable automotive battery solutions. He played a pivotal role in expanding the company's powertrain testing capabilities and contributed to revenue growth. Notably, he successfully developed a £22 million automotive battery testing facility and increased annual revenue from zero to £10 million during his tenure.

Between 2011 and 2017, Mr . Prigg was Head of Test at Mercedes-AMG-High Performance Powertrains Ltd, Brixworth, UK. Under his leadership, teams won World Championships in Formula 1 racing, an accomplishment he considers one of his most significant professional milestones.

Earlier roles at Mercedes-AMG-High Performance Powertrains Ltd included, Test Engineering team leader from 2009 to 2011, Track Operations Manager in 2009 supporting the McLaren Formula 1 team, and Trackside Engineering and Quality Manager from 2005 to 2008. In those positions, Mr. Prigg was integral to the success of high-performance racing programs, overseeing engineering teams and ensuring optimal performance at Formula 1 race and test events.

Before joining Mercedes-AMG-High Performance Powertrains Ltd, Mr. Prigg was Head of Track Support at Cosworth Racing, Northampton, UK from 2004 to 2005 working with the Red Bull Racing team. He previously served as Senior and Principal Engineer for Formula 1 track support from 2000 to 2004 at Cosworth supporting the Jaguar Racing, Arrows and Jordan teams. His responsibilities included providing technical expertise during race and test events and collaborating with teams to enhance vehicle performance.

Mr. Prigg's earlier experience includes serving as an Application Engineer in the electronics department at BMW Motorsport Ltd, Munich, Germany from 1999 to 2000, working with the Williams team following his first term as a Trackside Electronics Engineer at Cosworth from 1992 to 1999, working with the Benetton, Sauber and Stewart Formula 1 teams.

His career began with foundational roles as a Graduate Apprentice in Electronics at Lucas Automotive, Birmingham, UK from 1991 to 1992 and an Apprentice at Lucas Electrical Ltd from 1984 to 1986.

Mr. Prigg's academic background includes earning a First Class Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK between 1987 and 1991. This educational foundation provided him with the technical knowledge necessary for his subsequent achievements in engineering and management.

He attributes his professional success to hard work, perseverance and the encouragement of his late father, who was actively involved in fostering his interest in engineering from an early age.

Outside of his professional endeavours, Mr. Prigg enjoys powerboating, sailing and watching football (both English and American variants). He is dedicated to supporting Lucid's continued growth and is committed to helping the company achieve its ambitious objectives in the coming years.
