Prior to his current position, Mr. Wilder held several roles at Protective Industrial Products between 2022 and 2024. He began as a customer experience specialist in 2022, advancing to marketing coordinator later that year before returning to customer experience through 2024. In 2024, he was promoted to customer experience specialist II and national account specialist, managing key accounts and enhancing client satisfaction through tailored service solutions.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilder worked at Adirondack Winery in 2021 as both a winery guest service and sales associate and an off-site events coordinator. His professional journey also includes experience as a delivery driver for Domino's from 2020 to 2021 (during Covid), following his time as a brand ambassador at Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store from 2019 until 2020. In 2019, he completed an admissions internship at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

Formative in shaping Mr. Wilder's approach to customer service and entrepreneurship were his early work experiences. At age 14, he assisted his father — a professional events photographer (Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, etc.)— and learned valuable lessons about people skills and navigating high-pressure situations. He subsequently spent four years working at American Eagle, where he honed his ability to manage challenging customer interactions.

Providing a strong foundation for Mr. Wilder's career in hospitality and event planning was his academic background, inclusive of a Bachelor of Applied Science in hospitality administration and management with minors in business and marketing from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, earned in 2021. Although initially interested in teaching, he transitioned toward event management after serving as the activities chair for the student association, in which he organized campus events such as comedy shows and concerts.

Throughout his academic tenure, Mr. Wilder was actively involved in extracurricular leadership roles. He served as the co-chair of the concert committee from 2019 to 2020, the general vice president of the Inter-Fraternity Council in 2019 and the vice president of activities for the student association in 2018, and took on a few leadership roles in his Fraternity. As a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, he developed an interest in hookah culture that would later influence his pursuits to working at the Hookah Lounge.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Wilder attributes much of his success to courage, determination and authenticity — qualities instilled by his supportive parents and encouraged by his brothers. His achievements have been recognized through several honors, including attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and receiving VIP recognition on his high school robotics team.
