Mr. Moore, at 37, is recognized as the youngest franchisee-owner and operator of SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service. Since 2019, he has led the business with distinction, opening his first location in March of that year and a second in June. By September 2024, he expanded further with a third location and, in January 2025, acquired three additional shops in Virginia, bringing his total to six. His tenure at SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service is marked by a commitment to leadership coaching and team development, achievements he considers among his most significant. Mr. Moore's entrepreneurial journey and dedication to service were profiled in the 2025 National Oil and Lube News article, "A Life of Service: From Army National Guard to SpeeDee Franchise Owner." He also serves as president of the National Franchise Advisory Council for SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service. He has been recognized with the Chairman's Innovation Award in 2025 and as Franchisee of the Quarter.

Before his current role, Mr. Moore served as a transition specialist at Hire Heroes USA from 2017 to 2019. In this capacity, he provided critical support to veterans transitioning to civilian employment, assisting over 200 individuals in securing meaningful work. His earlier experience includes serving as team lead at Tova Inc. in 2017, where he honed his leadership and operational skills.

Mr. Moore's professional foundation was established in the restaurant industry, where he worked as general manager for Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q in 2016 and as brand ambassador from 2011 to 2016. These roles provided him with valuable insights into team management and customer service, shaping his approach to business ownership.

His career also includes distinguished military service with the Army National Guard. From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Moore served as executive officer, following his tenure as platoon leader from 2011 to 2014. His military background instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and leadership, qualities that have been instrumental in his subsequent professional achievements.

Mr. Moore is an active member of several industry and professional organizations. He has been affiliated with the John Maxwell Team since 2017, the National Guard Association of the United States since 2012 and the National Rifle Association of America since 2011. He is also a lifetime member of The Citadel Alumni Association.

Academically, Mr. Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2011. His education provided a solid foundation for his leadership roles in both the military and the private sector. He holds certifications as a coach, speaker, and teacher from Maxwell Leadership, Inc., as well as in the essentials of recruiting for the staffing industry from Capella Education Company. Mr. Moore credits his success to his faith in God, self-trust and perseverance, values that have guided his career decisions and personal growth.

Civically engaged, Mr. Moore has contributed to several charitable organizations. He has served as a wish-granter for Make-A-Wish America and is a contributor to both Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Hire Heroes USA. Through these efforts, he demonstrates a commitment to supporting veterans and families in need.

Born in Morehead City, Mr. Moore enjoys traveling, playing video games, competitive pistol shooting, wakeboarding and weightlifting. Alongside his spouse, Shelley, he remains dedicated to expanding his franchise operations by acquiring additional stores and hiring more employees. He continues to focus on enhancing his leadership and coaching abilities while giving back to the community and helping others.
