Mr. Megason has distinguished himself in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry and currently serves as Director of Business Development for Strategic Clients at Baker Construction, a role he assumed in 2025. In this capacity, he is responsible for engaging strategic clients and partners, presenting Baker Construction's service offerings, and ensuring the successful initiation and delivery of complex projects. Over the course of his career, Mr. Megason has been responsible for the execution of numerous mega-projects, each valued in excess of $1 billion, while building long-standing client relationships and advancing innovative solutions that improve lives and communities.

Prior to joining Baker Construction, Mr. Megason spent more than 20 years at Fluor Corporation, holding a progression of increasingly senior leadership roles. He began as a construction manager from 2005 to 2006 before serving as operations manager in Iraq from 2006 to 2009, where he oversaw military base operations and the maintenance of critical power and water infrastructure during the post-war period. This assignment stands among his most significant professional achievements, reflecting his leadership under challenging and high-risk conditions in support of military operations.

In 2009, Mr. Megason advanced to project manager at Fluor, where he played a key role in delivering high-profile projects. Recruited to Fluor Construction from Kellogg Brown Root Services company, Mr. Megason gained foundational expertise as a site manager and senior estimator from 2003 to 2005. Before entering the construction industry, he spent a decade as a professional cowboy, starting in 1993. During this period, he attended Sul Ross State University and Oklahoma State University, competing in bull riding and saddle-breaking horses. This unconventional foundation instilled the resilience, discipline, and adaptability that have been hallmarks of his corporate leadership career.

In preparation for his professional advancement, Mr. Megason earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina in 2011. He also holds the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), where he remains an active member.

He has volunteered with United Way of Greater Houston, United Way of Greenville County, and the Boys & Girls Club, reflecting his dedication to giving back and supporting youth and community development initiatives.

He attributes his success to hard work, grit and an unwavering determination, qualities that have defined both his personal character, and professional achievements. He owes much of his success to the unwavering support of his wife, whose encouragement, patience, and belief in him provided a constant foundation throughout his career. Looking ahead Mr. Megason aspires to continue his advancement in leadership roles while remaining actively involved in his family life and making a positive impact within his community.
