Mr. Lynn's final position in the pharmaceutical industry was as a territory business manager at Inizio Engage from 2023 through 2025, where he educated medical professionals on recognizing a rare form of heart failure called ATTR-CM. Between 2019 and 2021, he owned Vets Auto Center LLC, where he worked with his local VFW, selling vehicles on consignment or donated to the VFW in addition to selling classic cars. Part of the proceeds was donated to veterans' charities in Phoenix, AZ. From May 2022 to December 2022, he had a friend who had a stroke, then 3 months later had a heart attack. His years of healthcare experience allowed him to guide his friend through the US Healthcare system. This is where he gained additional insight into the most concerning aspects of the US Healthcare System from a caregiver's perspective to complete his research for his book.

A significant portion of Mr. Lynn's career was spent at Purdue Pharma, as a territory business manager from 1996 to 2017. During this substantial tenure, he achieved what he considers his most significant professional accomplishment: assisting an oncology practice treating a woman with cancer-related bone metastases, in extreme pain. By educating the practice on what the recommended combination of medications was needed to deliver effective pain management, his prompt action and adherence to medical guidelines resulted in her pain being controlled within forty-eight hours, allowing her to remain pain-free for the five weeks leading up to her passing. This experience stands as a testament to Mr. Lynn's dedication to improving patient outcomes and making meaningful differences in people's lives.

Mr. Lynn gained foundational experience in a range of roles. He began his career managing restaurants and bars at LaGuardia Airport in NYC after completing a Bachelor of Science in food systems management from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1982. He then completed culinary training at the NY restaurant school and apprenticed to be a chef at Rosie O'Grady's in New York's Theater District. After gaining his culinary training, Mr. Lynn managed several student cafeterias for NYU from 1983 to 1985. He moved to Arizona from NY in 1986 and worked for a short time managing a corporate cafeteria for Motorola in Phoenix, AZ. He then began his sales career as a Sysco Foods representative from 1987 to 1989. He transitioned his career into pharmaceuticals as a biological product specialist at Connaught Laboratories from 1990 to 1996, earning recognition for his sales performance. Notably, Mr. Lynn has also secured the certified medical representative designation, which reflects his commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and expertise within the pharmaceutical sector.

Mr. Lynn's many meaningful contributions have been recognized with accolades, including top sales awards from both Connaught Laboratories and Purdue Pharma, and he is humbled to have accepted such prestigious honors that highlight his leadership within the pharmaceutical sector. He attributes his sustained success to his genuine care for others, a quality that has guided his approach throughout his career and continues to influence his current endeavors. Notably, Mr. Lynn is also enthusiastic about civic service and actively volunteers with the Andre House of Arizona and assists at Saint Mary's Food Bank.

In addition to authoring "Surviving the U.S. Healthcare System," Mr. Lynn remains engaged in creative projects that educate and empower others to navigate the U.S. healthcare system. To achieve balance, he enjoys spending time with his son and playing pickleball, and his enduring appreciation for classic cars has inspired plans with partners to open a classic car storage facility. Additionally, Mr. Lynn will launch a podcast to address the ongoing healthcare crisis and provide guidance on navigating the system.
