Mr. Ghildyal has accumulated more than 40 years of experience in financial services, including over 17 years in mortgage lending in the Cincinnati, Ohio region. He currently serves as a Certified Mortgage Advisor at First Community Mortgage, where he works closely with military veterans and first-time homebuyers. His role centers on guiding clients and real estate professionals through each stage of the mortgage process, with an emphasis on clarity, informed decision-making, and risk awareness. Known for a transparent and educational approach, he regularly conducts detailed consultations to ensure clients understand the structure and implications of their financing options. His work reflects a long-standing commitment to relationship-based service rather than transactional volume.

From 2011 to 2022, Mr. Ghildyal served as a loan officer at PrimeLending. During this time, he developed a national client base while maintaining a locally focused practice, working with borrowers in states including Alaska, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida.

He is widely recognized for his expertise in Veterans Affairs (VA) loan programs and has delivered educational instruction to nearly 600 real estate professionals on the benefits and mechanics of VA lending. His efforts have helped address common misconceptions surrounding VA loans and have contributed to broader industry understanding. He has also developed educational materials for academic programs, including coursework at Middle Tennessee State University under the oversight of General Keith Huber.

Earlier in his mortgage career, Mr. Ghildyal served as assistant director of lending at Emery Financial Services, a subsidiary of Emery Federal Credit Union, from 2008 to 2011.

Prior to transitioning into mortgage lending, Mr. Ghildyal built a substantial career in investment and financial advisory services. He held the position of vice president of investments at UBS Financial Services from 1989 to 2007, where he specialized in asset allocation strategies and trained fellow advisors in their effective application. During this period, he supported clients through significant market and life events, including assisting families affected by Hurricane Katrina as they navigated complex financial decisions.

From 1980 to 1989, he served as vice president of investments at Stotler & Co. in New Orleans, where he worked with high-net-worth clients and contributed to the development of modernized applications within the commodity futures market.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ghildyal has been guided by a philosophy of persistence and discipline, influenced in part by his long-standing practice of karate. Among many client engagements, one notable experience involved assisting a veteran in his late seventies who, after years of personal hardship, was ultimately able to purchase a home using VA benefits following an extended and carefully managed lending process that took 2 years.

Mr. Ghildyal's professional contributions have been recognized through features in National Mortgage Professional Magazine, as well as his selection as Realtor® Affiliate of the Year by the Realtor® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati in 2021.

He has served three terms as chairman of the Realtor Affiliate Committee for the Alliance and previously held the role of president of the American Association of Indian Professionals in New Orleans. It is his stated goal to become the Top Mortgage professional in the Cincinnati Market.

Mr. Ghildyal earned a master's degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1978 and was awarded a scholarship to study Japanese at the Institute of International Studies in Japan. He completed a Bachelor of Administration degree at the University of Regina in Canada in an accelerated timeframe and earlier earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from Delhi University in 1974.

He obtained the Certified Mortgage Advisor (CMA) designation in 2021 and has served as an instructor for VA mortgage education through the Realtor® Alliance of Greater Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky Association of Realtors since 2013.

Originally from India, Mr. Ghildyal maintains a strong connection to his Garhwali heritage, which traces its roots to the Himalayan regions of Uttar Pradesh.

He is married and the father of one adult son. Outside of his professional work, he continues to practice karate, holding a second-degree black belt, and enjoys classical music, golf, and playing the sitar.
