After graduating college and prior to entering the aerospace field, Mr. Lepore worked at a wiring harness factory and a gear manufacturing facility where he honed his desire and skills to pursue the engineering discipline.

Mr. Lepore has established a distinguished career in aerospace engineering program management and business development. He currently is a consultant in the aerospace field supporting program management, engineering management and business development to various organizations. Prior to transitioning to consulting, he served as a senior manager–missions and systems at Oakman Aerospace Inc. and Redwire Space Systems, where since 2019, he has demonstrated exceptional technical management skills and consistently led programs to profitability, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction while fostering strong team cohesion in a challenging environment. Notably, Mr. Lepore's signature ability to transition seamlessly between programs while maintaining high morale and productivity among his teams is widely acknowledged across the organization.

Since 2017, Mr. Lepore has also operated as an independent consultant with Lepore and Associates LLC. Through this role, he provides expert guidance on program management and technical solutions, drawing upon his extensive background in thermal engineering, systems integration and program management. From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Lepore succeeded as a product support manager at Vector Launch Inc., capably overseeing product lifecycle support and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through effective problem resolution and process improvements.

Between 2016 and 2017, Mr. Lepore served as a project manager for collaborative robotics at Terumo BCT, and he is proud of his record of cross-functional teams management and his focus on advancing robotic technologies within the production environment achieved by working with a skilled team of engineers. Between 2012 and 2015, Mr. Lepore was the director at RUAG Space, where he directed strategic initiatives in business development and managed projects that contributed to the company's advancement in the aerospace sector in the United States market.

Mr. Lepore's expertise was further demonstrated during his tenure as the senior manager of components, technologies and sensors at Comtech Aero Astro from 2011 to 2012, where he led development efforts for advanced aerospace components and sensor technologies. Additionally, Mr. Lepore worked as a senior program manager at General Dynamics AIS from 2008 to 2010, managing multiple high-profile defense and aerospace programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to stringent quality standards.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lepore earned foundational experience as a program manager at Spectrum Astro Inc., where, between 1998 and 2006, he earned both the Founder's Award and Manager of the Year honors for his outstanding leadership and contributions to successful project outcomes. Spectrum Astro provided Mr. Lepore with one of his greatest accomplishments: serving as program manager on the Swift Program, a satellite still operating after 21 years! Throughout his professional journey, he has accepted other prestigious awards, including supply chain management awards and the President's Technology Award. Mr. Lepore also secured patents resolving issues affecting satellites in production (RF Transparent Membrane) and special thermal tape (improving installation of thermal blankets during Integration and Test)- evidence of his enduring commitment to contribute innovative engineering solutions.

By entering the aerospace field, Mr. Lepore had the opportunity to work at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, several higher education institutions (Johns Hopkins University, Penn State University, Stanford) and various international facilities (Matra Marconi Space, JAXA, DLR, Thales Alenia). Here he worked side-by-side with brilliant scientists and engineers, providing a great source of inspiration, advancing our understanding of our place in the universe.

A passion for continuous learning prompted Mr. Lepore to pursue academic excellence, and in 2008, he proudly completed a Master of Program Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. He has also secured the project management professional credential from the prestigious Project Management Institute.

A strong work ethic, instilled in him by his parents, has been a major factor contributing to his achievements. Mr. Lepore attributes much, if not all, of his success to a philosophy grounded in critical thinking, humility, openly acknowledging when he does not readily have the answer, but committing to finding it through teamwork with skilled systems engineers, whose patience and expertise he values. He also credits this collaborative environment for mitigating risk and achieving program objectives. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Lepore enjoys mountain hiking, caring for his old MG and is the proud father of two sons.
