Mr. Dinh's academic journey began after immigrating to the United States from Vietnam in 1982. Despite initial language barriers and challenges passing the Test of English as a Foreign Language examination on his first attempt, he persevered academically. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, in 1988. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, in 1995.
Committed to continuous development, Mr. Dinh earned several certifications through LinkedIn Learning in 2020: lean six sigma foundations, six sigma green belt and lean six sigma: analyze, improve and control tools. His contributions were recognized with the prestigious "Boss" Kettering Award from General Motors in 2018. A father of two, he attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his wife and family.
In his personal life, Mr. Dinh enjoys a wide range of activities such as playing volleyball Tennis and soccer, running a ping pong club with his brother and friends, playing music with his band, deejaying, traveling, swimming, skiing, inline skating and ice skating.
