Mr. Bazemore's academic background includes earning a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Florida State University in Tallahassee in 2004. His education provided him with valuable insights into human behavior and cultural dynamics, which have proven beneficial in managing a diverse staff and serving a wide-ranging clientele. While attending college, Mr. Bazemore was inspired to enter the restaurant industry after meeting with an acquaintance who had recently started a restaurant. After several discussions, he was offered the opportunity to take over an existing deli, a proposition he accepted, despite being young and without a concrete plan to launch his own business. Before acquiring Metro Deli, he gained practical experience working in several restaurants, which equipped him with essential operational knowledge.

Mr. Bazemore attributes his ongoing success to a combination of good fortune, the support of his family (wife Jenny, mother Debi, brother Jason, sister Jessica, and nephew James) who have all played a role in his success, and the dedication of his staff, especially his longtime manager Bobby, who has been with him for 20 years, as well as several other longtime employees. He also credits his family's unwavering support as instrumental in sustaining and growing his business.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mr. Bazemore is actively involved in civic and charitable initiatives. He supports local high school sports programs through donations. Born in Orlando and raised in Melbourne, Florida, he moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State and has been there ever since. Mr. Bazemore values time spent with his family and enjoys traveling.
