Ms. Tavares' is a certified tax preparer, IRS accepting agent, and recognized as a notary public.

Reflecting on her career, Ms. Tavares attributes much of her success to the influence of her parents, who served as role models through their perseverance and resilience. Her father's dedication—working three jobs while supporting a family in a new country—and her mother's strength during illness inspired Ms. Tavares to pursue excellence despite challenges. Witnessing her parents' struggles adapting to life in the United States motivated her to help others facing similar obstacles, particularly within the Brazilian community. Serving primarily Brazilian clients allowed her to bridge cultural gaps and provide valuable support to those navigating unfamiliar systems. Encouragement from her husband also played a pivotal role in her decision to establish her own business—a goal she once thought unattainable while raising three children, including twins.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Tavares is actively involved in civic initiatives as a contributor to local charity programs. Her commitment to community service is further reflected in her public speaking engagements; in 2025 alone, she delivered six speeches and participated as a speaker at the 50 Shades of Pink event with SmartNews SC.
