Ms. Awuku-Agyeman currently serves as co-founder and chief executive officer of Tech Hub Africa, a role she began in 2025. In this capacity, she oversees her team to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment with the organization's mission. Her leadership at Tech Hub Africa is marked by her commitment to fostering innovation and driving technological advancement across the continent.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Awuku-Agyeman held several key roles at Cox Communications, Inc. She was director of channel marketing strategy from June to December of 2024, where she was instrumental in shaping the company's approach to customer and employee engagement. From 2023 to 2024, she served as director of acquisition strategy, multicultural and affordability marketing, focusing on broadening the company's reach within diverse communities and developing inclusive marketing initiatives. Between 2021 and 2023, Ms. Awuku-Agyeman was director of segment and multicultural marketing strategy, where she played a pivotal role in building the multicultural marketing department. Her work at Cox Communications demonstrated her ability to lead transformative projects and cultivate inclusive business practices.

Ms. Awuku-Agyeman's earlier career includes significant achievements at Verizon. From 2020 to 2021, she contributed to emerging 5G product development and management, following her tenure in 5G product management. As consumer marketing manager for 5G technology from 2019 to 2020, she led the development of marketing strategies and value propositions for Verizon's groundbreaking 5G services, encompassing both home internet and mobile offerings, an accomplishment she regards as one of her most notable professional achievements. From 2017 to 2020, Ms. Awuku-Agyeman managed various programs at Verizon, including serving as strategy manager for global segment marketing in 2017 and manager for customer relations management for segment and multicultural marketing from 2016 to 2017. Her expertise also extended to global customer relations and retention management consulting from 2013 to 2017, customer relations management and marketing consulting from 2011 to 2013, online and cross-marketing consulting from 2009 to 2011, vendor marketing and management projects coordination from 2008 to 2009 and quality assurance coordination from 2006 to 2008 at Verizon Wireless.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Awuku-Agyeman was director of communications at A&A Associates from 1998 to 2004. She also served as regional public relations director for Electricity Company of Ghana Ltd. from 1994 to 1997.

In addition to her corporate roles, Ms. Awuku-Agyeman has demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative by launching Ghana Mall Online on November 24, 2025, an e-commerce platform modeled after Amazon that aims to revolutionize online shopping experiences in Ghana and across the continent.

Her professional affiliations include serving on the board of the Association of National Advertisers, reflecting her influence within the industry.

Ms. Awuku-Agyeman's academic background has been foundational to her success. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College (now University of Maryland Global Campus) in Adelphi, Maryland, in 2009. She also holds a Master of Science in public relations and business management from the same institution, completed in 2008. Her undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science in computer networking from Strayer University in Washington, District of Columbia, in 2002 and a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and advertising from the Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra, Ghana, in 1994.

Ms. Awuku-Agyeman has further distinguished herself through advanced certifications: she earned a certificate in advanced project management from Stanford University in Stanford, California, in 2015; became a Microsoft certified professional through Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, in 2000; and achieved recognition as a public relations professional by the Institute of Public Relations in Accra, Ghana, in 2000.

She attributes much of her drive and resilience to the guidance and encouragement provided by her mother, who instilled confidence and a strong sense of purpose by enrolling her in leading educational institutions throughout Ghana. The unwavering support from her parents, siblings and husband has also played an essential role throughout her journey.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Awuku-Agyeman is deeply engaged with civic organizations and industry groups. She is an advisory council member for Harvard Business Review Publishing since 2024; executive secretary for the regional council committee at ICGCNA since 2021; regional administrator for ICGCNA since 2021. Outside her professional life, Ms. Awuku-Agyeman enjoys watching movies with her family. She is dedicated to expanding her agro business, Ofie Agro Ltd with her sister and business partner, Jemima Prempeh, by building a factory that automate production processes using cassava—a staple food across Africa—combined with ingredients such as turmeric, beets, soybeans, tigernuts, potatoes and coconut to create innovative gari products. When it comes to Tech Hub Africa, her vision with her business partner, Ms. Prempeh includes establishing a Technology and Innovation Hub infrastructure both within Georgia and across Africa to provide the youth and students from underserved communities access to technology and innovation.

Ms. Awuku-Agyeman is also devoted to nurturing her family, which includes her husband, Dr. Opoku Agyeman and her son, Kofi Opoku Agyeman, while continuing her impactful work across multiple sectors.
