Working for this Canadian natural gas company, he developed a mobile application to modernize its processes. More recently, Mr. Awad has collaborated with FeatherAI, a startup building a cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) product. This venture builds on his earlier experience in AI and machine learning.

Mr. Awad views the creation of CalMurino Technologies Corp. as his greatest achievement so far. The company's launch marked a shift from purely technical work toward building and managing his own firm from the ground up. As a result of this endeavor, Mr. Awad has embraced the opportunity to showcase his leadership skills, including expanding his understanding of human resources, process improvement, team management and other subjects extending far beyond his technical expertise. Prior to founding CalMurino Technologies Corp., Mr. Awad established himself through an internship as a software developer with Budget Propane. When he started this internship, he was given one month to learn a programming language he was unfamiliar with. Mr. Awad impressed senior staff at Budget Propane by learning the language in just two weeks, allowing him to swiftly contribute to critical projects. His work proved fruitful enough that Budget Propane has continued to work with him on a contract basis through CalMurino Technologies. Additionally, Mr. Awad took on a prior internship at a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) company, where he learned fundamental skills related to automation, data collection, machine learning and AI. He has previous experience working in a range of customer service and hospitality positions.

While advancing his professional life at an ambitious rate, Mr. Awad has simultaneously pursued a strong academic foundation for his future. He earned a diploma of college studies in computer science from Valleyfield College in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada, in 2023. Mr. Awad is currently in the process of completing a bachelor's degree in software engineering at California State University, San Marcos. He has also obtained certification in English proficiency through the Duolingo English Test.

Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Awad finds numerous ways to give back to his community. He regularly volunteers for a monthly service with his church, through which he prepares and distributes food to homeless individuals in San Diego. Mr. Awad has also offered his guidance on various youth committees. Though not officially a member, he has worked closely with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) during his studies.

Outside of his career, Mr. Awad enjoys playing soccer and exercising at the gym. Looking toward his future, he is eager to foster a new home for himself in the United States.
