Mr. Olsen currently serves as President of Telmark Packaging Company, a role he assumed full-time in the fall of 2022 after acquiring the company in July 2021. During his initial year of ownership, he continued to work full-time at CTL Packaging USA before dedicating himself entirely to Telmark. Under his leadership, Telmark has solidified its reputation as a premier provider of contract manufacturing, filling and packaging services, with a particular focus on sample packaging. The company supports a diverse array of industries, including personal care, nutritional products, cleaning and chemicals, lawn and garden, automotive aftercare, food and beverage and pet care. Mr. Olsen is responsible for interfacing directly with customers to assess their packaging and contract manufacturing needs, providing tailored sales solutions that encompass packaging components, pricing and contract filling services. He oversees projects from formulation development through batching and filling, translating customer requirements into comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Managing a turnkey supply chain, he leverages a strategic network of specialized suppliers aligned to specific product categories and equipment needs. His oversight extends to an internal team of more than ten staff members.

Prior to his tenure at Telmark Packaging Company, Mr. Olsen was vice president of sales and marketing at CTL Packaging USA from 2018 to 2022. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in driving business growth for the in-mold label tube manufacturer by developing new client relationships and expanding market reach.

From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Olsen served as vice president of business development for the Northeast at TricorBraun. He previously held the position of northeast regional sales manager at TricorBraun from 2014 to 2016. Over nearly nine years with the organization, he managed the New York and Boston offices alongside colleague Don Forbes, leading a team of 10 external and approximately 25 internal reports responsible for $250 million in revenue. Among his most significant achievements during this period was building approximately one hundred custom molds, a notable accomplishment within the industry. In 2013, Mr. Olsen contributed to the launch of Hello Products, an oral care brand whose introduction of mouthwash, toothpaste and breath spray led to its acquisition by Colgate-Palmolive. This project resulted in the most significant tooling order in TricorBraun's history—a $2.5 million check from Hello Products—and earned him the prestigious Mickey Kranzberg Award in 2013. This honor is awarded annually to only one or two individuals among roughly 150 to 175 salespeople and managers at TricorBraun's national sales meeting.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Olsen was general manager and vice president of sales at Dieter Bakic Enterprises from 2007 to 2010, where he was instrumental in expanding the company's presence in North America through innovative sales strategies and client engagement.

From 2000 to 2007, he held the role of North America sales and marketing manager at MWV (MeadWestvaco), where he developed expertise in dispensing packaging solutions and new client acquisition—skills that have defined his professional journey.

Mr. Olsen is recognized as an expert in contract manufacturing and packaging. He is an active member of industry organizations such as Cosmetic Industry Buyers and Suppliers (CIBS) and the New Jersey Packaging Executive Club.

His academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, earned in 2007. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, completed in 1994. Mr. Olsen credits his success to consistently showing up—being punctual, prepared and fully committed. He often shares with colleagues and mentees the importance of striving for excellence regardless of one's role or industry.

His family connections influenced Mr. Olsen's entry into the packaging sector; after completing his undergraduate studies without a clear career direction, he received guidance from his uncle, Rick McKenna, a well respected professional in the packaging industry who remains a valued mentor.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Olsen is civically engaged as a fundraiser for Friendly Sons of Shillelagh and volunteers as a lacrosse coach at Cabrini University and with the Rutgers Packaging Engineering Program.

Born in Red Bank, Mr. Olsen is deeply family-oriented and places great value on maintaining strong bonds with both his immediate family—including his parents and wife's parents—and his three siblings. As one of four brothers who have each pursued advanced degrees at the master's or doctoral level, he attributes much of his drive to the work ethic instilled in him during his upbringing.

He has been married to Jennifer for over two decades; she is a first-grade teacher. Together they have three children: Anna, Mary and Finn. Anna recently graduated from the College of Charleston; one child is currently attending college, while another is enrolled in high school.

In his personal time, Mr. Olsen enjoys playing golf and fishing. Looking ahead, he is committed to expanding Telmark Packaging Company while enhancing opportunities for staff so that all involved are financially and professionally rewarded.
