Prior to her current role, Ms. Muse served as the principal project manager for major projects, instruments and control, at Westinghouse Electric Company from 2023 to 2024. From 2018 to 2023, Ms. Muse was a senior project manager at ABB, where she led large scale electrification initiatives—including major data center upgrades—and earned recognition for her strong performance in demanding environments.

Between 2011 and 2014, she served as the program manager for lessons learned and operating experience at GE, responsible for capturing organizational knowledge and implementing corrective actions based on operational feedback. Ms. Muse previously served as lead nuclear project controls analyst at Granite Services, Inc. from 2008 to 2011, managing financials, project controls and scheduling for nuclear projects. She began her tenure at Granite Services as a service coordinator between 2007 and 2008. Her early professional background includes working as a network planning supervisor at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, a business services analyst at DHL, a business development manager at Worldwide Express and an asset management specialist at Inacom Information Systems.

Throughout her career — from project coordination through financial management, project controls and scheduling to senior-level project and program management — Ms. Muse has continuously embodied a philosophy instilled by an early mentor: success is defined by dedication and the quality of one's work, not titles or connections. This principle guided her progression into roles such as senior project manager, major projects project manager and ultimately program manager.

Beyond her professional roles, Ms. Muse's involvement extends to several industry organizations, including the Project Management Institute, Women in Nuclear and the North America Young Generation in Nuclear. Ms. Muse's academic background includes an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earned in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in management and operations from Louisiana Tech University, where she graduated in 1994. These programs have contributed significantly to her leadership style and business acumen.

In addition to her formal degrees, Ms. Muse has pursued professional certifications that strengthen her program management expertise. She earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2015, followed by Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt certifications, and a root cause analysis certification at GE. She also completed a master's certificate in leadership at UNC Wilmington in 2019 and, more recently, advanced certifications in earned value management through PMCentersUSA in 2025, reflecting her continued commitment to growth and excellence. After completing college, she embraced opportunities across sales, asset management and supply chain roles before transitioning into planning positions at GE. There, she was recognized by a female manager who offered her a role in financial analysis, an opportunity that allowed her to apply her enthusiasm for numbers while demonstrating adaptability in new challenges.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Muse is deeply committed to civic engagement and community service. She supported the North Carolina Azalea Festival as a committee chairman member from 2018 to 2021 and has served in leadership roles in local schools, including PTO treasurer at Cape Fear Elementary and PTO president at Cape Fear Middle School. She has also volunteered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since 2007 and contributed as a board member of the Pender County Humane Society from 2021 to 2022, underscoring her long-standing dedication to her community.
