ROUND ROCK, TX, January 23, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robin Goad has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A successful global sales leader, author and public speaker, Ms. Goad is distinguished by a series of leadership roles across the technology and public sector landscapes, culminating in her position as general manager for worldwide public sector industry solutions at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this capacity, she is responsible for taking industry solutions to market for the global public sector, supporting K–12 education, higher education, health care and government entities at the state, local and federal levels.

Building teams and identifying key problem areas across public sector business segments, Ms. Goad aligns AWS capabilities with specific use cases and leverages the Amazon partner network to deliver targeted solutions for global public sector customers.

Since 2024, Ms. Goad has also served as a defense industrial sales leader at AWS, where she focused on addressing the needs of the United States Department of Defense and its suppliers, including Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Northrop Grumman. Her expertise in supply chain manufacturing, quality engineering and digital transformation has enabled her to navigate complex ecosystems and connect stakeholders to solve critical challenges for large-scale global defense companies.

Ms. Goad initially joined AWS as the company's worldwide senior sales lead in 2020. In this role for nearly four years, she concentrated on understanding client problems across various markets and segments, building relationships with like-minded professionals and integrating innovative solutions to address challenges within teams, markets and ecosystems.

Prior to joining AWS, Ms. Goad excelled as the Area Manager for the State of Texas at Gartner — a leading research and advisory firm — from 2017 to 2020. During this time, she provided strategic guidance and advice on best practices to guide public sector business leaders in Texas toward success in their endeavors.

From 2016 to 2017, Ms. Goad held the position of Vice President of new markets at CognitiveScale, which specializes in augmented intelligence software that solves business problems for clients in health care and financial services. As Chief Marketing Officer at Lucid AI the year before, she was pivotal in shaping brand strategy and driving widespread market adoption for artificial intelligence-based business solutions.

Ms. Goad's two tenures at Dell Technologies spanned 17 years and included several pivotal roles as she ascended the corporate ladder. As the director of global cloud services sales for channel partners from 2011 to 2013, she led global initiatives to expand cloud service offerings through strategic alliances and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. From 2009 to 2011, she was the Global Alliances Manager at Tata, where she fostered international partnerships, managed global sales and drove substantial year-on-year growth while aligning go-to-market strategies across Tata and Dell.

One of Ms. Goad's proudest professional milestones came when she served as a public segment business development manager for services at Dell Technologies from 2002 to 2007. During this period — shortly after the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) — she orchestrated a landmark partnership between DHS, Accenture and Dell that modernized security protocols for entry into the United States. This initiative resulted in the successful implementation of the U.S. Visit program with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, generating $1 billion in revenue while enhancing national security measures at ports of entry.

Earlier in her career at Dell Technologies from 1998 to 2000, Ms. Goad worked in public account strategic sales and developed foundational expertise in serving large-scale public sector clients. She achieved significant early success, increasing customer satisfaction and sales growth while overseeing $40 million in annual revenue.

In addition to her primary roles, Ms. Goad has made an impact as an active member of the Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network, the Vetted Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce. She is also a founding member of the Young Women's Alliance, which creates a space for women to connect, network and thrive within their careers and educational pursuits. Outside of her professional commitments, she serves on the board of Healed in Mercy, which provides compassionate care for individuals and families who seek healing from abuse and various forms of loss.

Before venturing onto her vocational path, Ms. Goad pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science in communications and journalism from Oklahoma Christian University in 1994. Her early training as a reporter instilled in her a lifelong commitment to uncovering truth — a skill that has proven invaluable throughout her technology sales career as she helps clients gain insights into their businesses. To augment her qualifications, she is certified as a Cloud Practitioner by Amazon Web Services and holds certificates in Generative Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing and public speaking.

Ms. Goad is the author of Girl by Birth, Woman by Fire: The Get Real Guide to Becoming the Woman You Were Meant to Be through which she helps women strip away the "shoulds" and reconnect with the woman underneath. She states that the book is not another fluffy self-help book or a list of steps to tick off. She invites women to look honestly at their lives and to rise from the ashes stronger and braver. She shares her hard-won insights as an executive coach and strategic advisor for the next generation of women leaders. Her focus is helping young professional women understand the unspoken rules of corporate America, identify the unique value they bring to the table, and develop a strategy to excel in their careers.

Ms. Goad has also delivered talks as a speaker at conferences such as TedxAustinWomen and SXSW, guest lectures at Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto and events hosted by Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network. Her achievements and devotion to empowering others have seen her recognized with accolades including Women of the Channel by Computer Reseller News in 2013 and Working Mother of the Year by Dell in 2011 — a testament both to her professional excellence and dedication as a parent.

Looking ahead, Ms. Goad is committed to building a community of multi-generational women who are dedicated to uplifting one another through authentic connections rather than curated highlight reels. Drawing on the lessons she learned while navigating corporate environments, she aims to create spaces where women can share wisdom across generations through workshops, coaching sessions and salon-style gatherings — which she intends to tie into her book launch events nationwide. Through these efforts, she seeks not only to empower women with knowledge but also to create opportunities for genuine support networks that help others make informed decisions throughout their lives and careers.
