Mr. Manley founded the business in honor of his son, Maverick Manley, who is actively involved in daily operations and has become a beloved figure among customers. Before launching Mav's Seafood Market LLC, Mr. Manley began his career with Montgomery Fire and Rescue in 20010 at age 20. He has now proudly served over 15 consecutive years in the department and aims to continue to serve within the department.

Civically minded, Mr. Manley supports organizations such as the Ryan Shines Burn Foundation and maintains broad involvement with other community initiatives. His commitments also extend to serving as an active participant in the Firefighter Combat Challenge, dubbed "The Toughest Two Minutes in Sports" by ESPN. Additionally, Mr. Manley and his father have both been inducted into the prestigious Lion's Den due to their personal achievements within the competition.

Mr. Manley's most notable achievement occurred in 2019 when he was named Firefighter of the Year by city leadership and honored at the First Responder Bowl in Texas, sponsored by ServPro. This recognition followed his courageous actions during a major house fire involving disabled adults, where he rescued multiple victims. Just before this incident, while vacationing with family in Panama City Beach, Florida, Mr. Manley assisted in saving four drowning victims over two consecutive days. The Firefighter of the Year award holds particular significance for Mr. Manley because his name appears alongside his father's on the department's commemorative plaque, which his father also received.

Attributing much of his success to his upbringing and the influence of his family lineage, Mr. Manley grew up instilled with an appreciation for skill and resourcefulness, qualities essential for serving communities with limited resources. Notably, his father dedicated three decades to Montgomery Fire and Rescue while also operating an electrical company, setting an example of hard work and public service that continues to inspire him today.
