Mr. Coleman is the founder and chief executive officer of Pivotal Health Partners LLC, a national consulting firm based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, established in 2024. Drawing on his extensive background in behavioral health administration, Mr. Coleman leverages his leadership experience to guide facilities through complex transitions and drive sustainable improvements.

Before founding Pivotal Health Partners LLC, Mr. Coleman briefly served as group chief executive officer for Bradford Health Services in 2024, overseeing operations across Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic direction and performance of multiple hospitals and facilities within the organization.

Between 2022 and 2023, Mr. Coleman was the chief executive officer at Summit BHC in Statesboro, Georgia. He previously held the same title at Summit BHC in Houston from 2021 to 2022. Mr. Coleman's earlier experience included serving as chief executive officer for Acadia Healthcare in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from 2020 to 2021 after overseeing its Murfreesboro, Tennessee, location and its Wesley Chapel, Florida, location, beginning in 2018. He began his tenure with Acadia Healthcare as a chief executive officer in training in Norcross, Georgia, in 2018.

Across these roles, Mr. Coleman provided leadership for hospital teams and implemented best practices to improve patient outcomes. He has supported over 15 hospitals and facilities across three companies during his tenure in the field with his work focused on managing psychiatric hospitals and substance use disorder facilities while driving operational excellence.

Before entering health care administration, Mr. Coleman worked as an employee benefits consultant and broker with BB&T Insurance Holdings Inc. (now Truist) in Nashville, Tennessee, from 2017 to 2018. His professional journey began in athletics as a quarterback for several football teams. He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2016 and the Arizona Rattlers in 2015. From 2012 to 2013, he was a quarterback with Green Bay Packers Inc., where he developed skills in teamwork and leadership that would later inform his approach to business management. Additionally, he served as the vice president of sales at Lipsey Logistics in Chattanooga from 2014 to 2016.

Mr. Coleman earned a bachelor's degree in communication and media studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2011 on a full athletic scholarship and a Master of Business Administration from Jack Welch Management Institute in 2024. These educational experiences have provided him with foundational knowledge that supports his leadership roles across industries.

Beyond his primary work, Mr. Coleman's commitment to mental health advocacy is reflected through his service as a board member of the Mental Health Association of East Tennessee since 2024. He is also active on the board at McCallie School and a speaker for College Promise.

The book offers insights on transition, resilience and leadership based on his personal experiences as an athlete and executive.

Mr. Coleman's achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the CEO of the Year Award from Great Oaks Recovery Center in 2022 and the Culture of the Year from Great Oaks Recovery Center that same year. Earlier honors include being named Second-Team All-Southern Conference in 2010 and earning the Mr. Football Award twice.
