Beyond his work at DTH IT, Mr. Hooker served as a principal solution architect at ServiceNow in 2022 and as a principal platform architect from 2021 to 2022. In these positions, he was instrumental in shaping platform strategies and delivering innovative solutions that leveraged the full capabilities of the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Before these affiliations, Mr. Hooker was a senior ServiceNow technical architect from 2012 to 2021. There, he played a pivotal role in designing and delivering consulting and technical methodologies around the ServiceNow platform. Mr. Hooker's earlier tenure as a service manager 2012 and 2013 and as a client executive from 2011 to 2012 also helped hone his skills in managing large-scale IT operations and client relationships.

From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Hooker served as an ITIL program manager. He pivoted to this position after initially working for the organization as an incident/problem and change manager (contractor) between 2009 and 2010.

Mr. Hooker's early years were spent holding several roles from 2001 to 2008, working his way up to IT global operations lead until 2009. He also worked for companies such as various companies, dating back to 1999.

Mr. Hooker's academic background includes attending Chico State University. He also holds several professional credentials that underscore his expertise, including ServiceNow certifications as an system administrator, application developer, IT service management implementation specialist, HRSD implementation specialist and IRM implementation specialist. Among other designations, Mr. Hooker is a certified technical architect.

Active in professional organizations, Mr. Hooker is most notably a member of the 100 Black Men of America, which aligns with his passion for community engagement and professional development. Throughout his career, he has also demonstrated a commitment to mentoring others in the industry. He hosts a developer meetup in Charlotte, North Carolina, and offers free sessions for aspiring developers on platforms like LinkedIn.

Mr. Hooker's expertise in the ServiceNow platform is widely recognized, culminating in his selection as a ServiceNow MVP for 2023 to 2024.
