In 2025, the program received more than 270,000 votes across nearly 5,000 nominees in over 270 categories, underscoring the significance of this honor.

Before founding her own business, Mrs. Thierolf spent five years coaching at competitive gymnastics programs, managing multiple teams and traveling extensively to support athlete development and competitive goals. She focused on fostering team cohesion, promoting skill mastery, and driving excellence both on and off the mat.

Earlier, she worked three years with an all-star cheer team in Texas, refining her coaching techniques and deepening her understanding of athlete motivation in a highly competitive environment.

While attending Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, Mrs. Thierolf balanced three concurrent positions—at a dance studio, a gymnastics program, and a church daycare—while maintaining academic and athletic scholarships and serving as team captain. These experiences provided a strong foundation in youth instruction and program management.

Mrs. Thierolf also devoted eight years to teaching in a specialized program for students behind in reading and math. She progressed from classroom instruction to leadership roles and was ultimately invited to lead a middle school in Kansas following a competitive selection process.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sports Management from Missouri Western State University. Initially planning to pursue a career in law, she shifted focus to recreation and sports management upon recognizing her strengths in communication and her passion for helping others achieve their goals. Her collegiate experience combined rigorous academics with athletics and leadership responsibilities.

Her education has shaped her coaching philosophy, emphasizing quality instruction and individualized attention. This approach fosters measurable progress, supports skill development, and has contributed to strong community recognition and family referrals.

Civically minded, Mrs. Thierolf remains actively involved with organizations supporting youth development and education, reflecting her commitment to community engagement beyond her professional work.

Born in Kansas City, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and exploring diverse cuisines. Looking ahead, she plans to expand Ivory's Tumble & Cheer with additional locations replicating her athlete-centered philosophy and to develop a Trampoline & Tumbling (TNT) program modeled on elite training systems, focusing first on refining her current business model.
