FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA, January 29, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David Hillberg has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Hillberg is an established expert in system analysis, failure modes, human factors in aviation and aircraft design. Since 2007, he has served as an independent aircraft maintenance specialist, providing specialized services to clients worldwide. His passion for antique and orphan aircraft—models no longer supported by manufacturers—has led him to maintain up to nine rare aircraft in airworthy condition for customers, a testament to his technical acumen and dedication. At the height of his work in this field, he supported a customer base of 50 to 60 aircraft owners. Mr. Hillberg's international assignments have included working on the only Japanese Zero to fly over Japan with a Japanese pilot since World War II in 2016, as well as projects in Taiwan involving helicopter maintenance and documentary filming ventures in Argentina, El Salvador, Russia and Australia.

Before progressing to his current role, Mr. Hillberg thrived as an aircraft mechanic and inspector with Dash Air and Procrastination Aviation for three years. He also held the position of aviation specialist and actor with Extended Sky, where he combined his technical knowledge with creative pursuits. Mr. Hillberg's diverse portfolio also includes experience as a helicopter mechanic and pilot inspector for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, where he was responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of the department's aviation assets.

Mr. Hillberg's varied career also encompasses service as a border patrol mechanic with Gulfstream Aerospace for the United States Customs and Border Protection. In this capacity, he played a vital role in maintaining operational readiness for border security missions. Additionally, he boasts longstanding involvement in the entertainment industry, highlighted by his tenure as an actor and leadership figure within the Screen Actors Guild prior to its merger with AFTRA. Notably, Mr. Hillberg successfully ran for and held a position with SAG Local, demonstrating his commitment to advocacy within the performing arts community.

A proud military veteran, Mr. Hillberg served honorably as an aircraft crew member in the United States Army at Fort Rucker, which he counts as a formative chapter in his life. He was recognized as the last soldier to earn the Aircraft Crew Member Badge at that installation, a distinction that underscores his commitment to excellence in aviation operations, and he went on to advance aviation technology. To this end, Mr. Hillberg partnered with his brother in the 1990s to design and build a small helicopter capable of reaching speeds of 200 miles per hour, an innovation that prompted a turbine kit helicopter trend that influenced turbine conversions across the industry for more than a decade.

Committed to continuous learning, Mr. Hillberg's educational background includes completion of an aviation program at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa; fire academy and aircraft crash rescue training through the Orange County Central Regional Occupational Program; and graduation from A&P School, where he trained as an aircraft mechanic. Mr. Hillberg has also secured inspection authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration as well as a civilian aircraft mechanic certificate from the same agency, and these signature credentials enable him to perform high-level inspections and maintenance on diverse aircraft platforms.

Mr. Hillberg maintains a robust network through affiliation with several organizations, including SAG-AFTRA, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and Helicopter International (now VAI). His civic engagement extends to membership in the Patriots for Freedom Club. He attributes his success to openness and kindness, as well as an ability to overcome adversity and transform challenges into motivation that fuels his determination. Mr. Hillberg also acknowledges the role of early experience and family in shaping his resilience, as both of his parents and an uncle worked for Los Angeles Airways, one of the first helicopter airlines in the United States.

Mr. Hillberg enjoys scuba diving as well as engaging in discussions about politics and governance. As he looks toward the future, he aims to complete several writing projects—including "Election Deniers: Observations of a Candidate"—and books focused on military and aviation themes, David intends to obtain a supplemental type certificate for the Enstrom helicopter to implement performance-enhancing modifications. Additionally, Mr. Hillberg as a candidate for 2021 and 2022 witnessed the results of the silent coup of 2019-2022 where the Citizens of California had all their election safeguards removed by the executive branch with full approval of the legislative branch. (we haven't voted for them in a long while).
