From 1997 to 2000, she worked as a financial analyst at ExxonMobil Corporation, where she was responsible for financial modeling and analysis to support key business decisions. Earlier in her career, Ms. Kiefer served as a research associate at Economists Incorporated from 1993 to 1995, conducting economic research and analysis for various projects.

Ms. Kiefer's academic background has been instrumental in her professional achievements. She earned a Master of Business Administration in financial management from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1997. She completed a Bachelor of Science in economics and public policy at Stanford University in 1993. She also holds a TEAM trainer certification, which has enhanced her ability to develop effective training programs for diverse audiences.
